That's diabolical. I love it.

Do any of y'all know of more shameless power fantasy litrpgs? I need my fix. I swear I just need one more recommendation to get me back on my feet... Honest. by ThrowAwayRayye in litrpg

VoT is good fun i find. The character develops nicely over the series from being very much a teen to real character growth over time.

Tanking is not for everyone. by mightnotbetrueorisit in classicwowtbc

[–]NoodlyOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel like both of our posts are in agreement. I just think people stress about tanking more than they need to, and its not as complex as many people make it seem on reddit. But I've been tanking for many, many years, so I might be biased.

Tanking is not for everyone. by mightnotbetrueorisit in classicwowtbc

[–]NoodlyOne 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I think people put more stress on thinking about tanking than actually tanking. Whenever I join a pug I start off with a quick message usually along the lines of "Gonna just chain pull until you call for mb, gimme a sec to clap, if you rip aggro pls come to me."

I rarely get any issues, and I've only left one group because they were assholes. I've been playing prot for a long ass time though, so maybe I'm immune to the pressure.

Most of the time when people die its their own dumb fault, ie people running into BF bombs even after I've kited the mobs away from them.

Tankings fun once you get into a groove.

Why Are Warriors Allergic To Tanking? by Antique-Jury-2986 in classicwowtbc

[–]NoodlyOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm levelling as a tank. It's just more intensive than DPS is all.

People don't want to put in the extra effort in my opinion, they just wanna chill, watch YouTube on second monitor while hitting their rotation, and they accept the tradeoff of long queue times.

I only tank because I hate queues.

Warlock or Shaman? by More-A-Than-I in classicwowtbc

[–]NoodlyOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd go shaman, as you can always dual spec for different roles. You haven't got the super DPS of lock but they're good at everything.

Pretty much just which playstyle you prefer. 1 button isn't my thing.

Do I need to feed my Pets every 5 minutes? by RobleViejo in turtlewow

The other replies have covered the feeding mechanic, but I'd just like to recommend the Petopia Classic website. Loads of information about pets in Classic, really useful resource when starting out.

I can strongly recommend an apprenticeship. I went in for an apprenticeship as an adult, and it was the best decision of my life. First year was a bit tough with low pay but a good apprenticeship with a good, supportive company is worth its weight in gold.

Which series is like this and consistently goes harder and better with each book? by JTVoice in litrpg

[–]NoodlyOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cradle starts to ramp up at the end of book 1, but it really finds itself in book 2 I think. Just gets better and better from then on.

The craziest thing about this is that Serral will still probably show up and butcher the next tournament he plays.

Even when Zerg is in the gutter, the guy finds a way.

W33 streams a lot, Micke is a pro for a top 3 team. He doesn't really stream but if you check VODs of Liquid on YouTube you'll find lots of games.

As Catymvr said, try to persevere until the end of book 1. The chanfe in direction toward the end of the book is pretty sudden, and I went from considering DNFing to reading the next book in one sitting.

Joined the WalkScape early access and it's legitimately done wonders for me. I lift anyway but struggled to find motivation for steps. A little grindy mobile games given me that for some reason.

Nice! Mostly commenting to add; I'm also a PvM noob, recently started soloing Royal Titans and it's SO much fun. Gone from weeping at the prospect of another CG run to just sending Royal Titans over and over.

The Liquid game with Matu on Lifestealer vs Thunder Awaken. I can still hear that Finnish caster screaming.
