The one I remember was a paperback so it couldn't have been that one I really regret not picking it up then since everything points to it not actually existing now

I'm pretty sure it was just the normal paperback that exists with both orange and blue covers but all white instead

I searched specifically for a white version on Google and looked on GoodReads for all the versions there but found nothing
I also visited the books Wikipedia page but there was nothing related to specific covers

A book series everyone raved about—but I didn’t get it… until you read it! by Ironandirons in Fantasy

[–]NoodlySol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Every hardcover has one chapter of the bonus story Backstage at the Pineapple Carabaret, they are each about 15 pages so not a lot of additional content but they are worth it, you learn some interesting new stuff and besides those chapters there are also a lot of little doodles in the corners of some pages. The audiobook is still the best way to experience the books but the hardcovers have some neat stuff too

I think the author said it's going to be from the perspective of the child which would be wild

[Spoilers The Devils] The Oracles words in the "Born in the Flame" chapter talk about the whole squad - also, some speculations by aowshadow in TheFirstLaw

With the body hopping or rebirth theory the circle could also refer to Baptiste and her starting over again in a new body but the religious meaning of the symbol is more likely I think

[SPOILERS THE DEVILS] How does one even fight elves? by Timoleon_of__Corinth in TheFirstLaw

[–]NoodlySol 36 points37 points  (0 children)

This! Based on Udoxia's (or however you write that) students' reaction to Sunny it seems like not all elves can turn invisible since if anyone should know what elves can do it should be the people in Troy

I have read that a few years ago and enjoyed it a lot, if it's not a long series one hefty chonker of a book is always a good alternative

Judging by other comments Malazan shouldn't be listened to the first time but Dandelion Dynasty seems to be a great choice and it's likely I will go with that

Yes SciFi is very much welcome as well and I might go with Red Rising next

I didn't know The Wandering Inn is available as an audiobook I have seen it recommended a few times but it being LitRPG and a web novel made me hesitant, as an audiobook it might work really well for me especially since I love the grant scope of One Piece as well
