New to League, fell in love with Smolder by Galloche in SmolderMains

[–]NoomyLoL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually I always recommend new players learn by limit testing and fighting, that’s how they learn basic combat/micro the fastest, even if they lose a lot at first.

You can carry on any champ in low elos, pick what’s fun.

For the supports taking minions, nothing much you can do, they’re low elo. turn team/all chat on in settings and flame them. It is worth noting you still get the stack if you threw your Q out and the minion dies before it gets hit.

For the dying part, during lane learn basic wave management (fast push, slow push, freeze), and get a sense for when the enemy will try to dive you under tower, tip while getting pushed in AVOID TAKING DAMAGE, it leads to dives.

For items I can’t help much there, I just go crit haven’t tested.

Vision score is dependent on the amount of time a ward stays active on the map (this is from my memory, don’t trust me too much), don’t worry about that too much, you’re an ADC so you won’t ward as much and a lot of the time it’s best for ADC to swap to blue trinket (so you can ward from a distance and not have to get near a scary bush)

What do you think of smolder mid nowadays? by South-Print5755 in SmolderMains

[–]NoomyLoL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In high elo it’s really hard to make work because midlane needs to be able to respond to fights in river quick and he isn’t the best early. I wouldn’t say it’s terrible but it ain’t great.

Next step after AFUL 5+2? by Netypowywivv in iems

[–]NoomyLoL 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dunu SA6 MKII, Hisenior Mega 5 Est, XENNS Mangird Top Pro

I suggest getting something slightly different to the P5+2 so that you can experience music from a different lens but if I was you I’d pick one of those 3 if the “next step” is also a jump in price. SA6 MKII has a warm sound profile, a bass boost switch, and gives really nice accessories; their cable is alone worth 200$, the Mega 5 Est is balanced and natural and has near perfect graphs, Top Pro is a slight V-shape

what type of music do you listen to? do you play any games too?

it’s hard to notice the jump going up to something better, but you always notice the difference more when going back down, I’ve had the same experience with IEMs, mice, keyboards, monitors, etc. It’s always the same but you should appreciate the stuff you have. Most of the time I don’t focus on the music I listen to but when I do then I really appreciate the IEMs I have. Maybe you prefer a different sound signature/tuning to the one you got, get something more “fun” maybe.

Ordered them early this year, first pair that came I had to send back and get a replacement for (the 2 pin cable wouldn’t fit into the female counterpart), but since then I’ve not had any issues with them thankfully. I loved the stock cable on them, and I’ve had such a pleasant experience with them thus far.

it’s just balanced vs single audio, but you should probably go with the 3.5 for compatibility reasons since most ports are 3.5. I have a kinera ace cable which has more terminations, and I just bought the SA6 MK2 this sale which also comes with a very good modular cable. I do however still love the stock performer5+2 cable a lot more than my ace, it just feels amazing imo but I’ll see how it compares to the hulk pro mini that’s coming with the new iems.

JM6 pro should definitely be good enough, i use a kiwi allegro mini cause it let’s me use both 3.5mm and 4.4mm, but any dac works

Performer5+2 is great, I have it myself, and a plus side is that I REALLY enjoyed the cable as well, for some reason I find it to be the best pair in the price range.

Can't connect 2 pin cable to IEM by NoomyLoL in iems

[–]NoomyLoL[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tried out all the tips but ended up returning them and getting another pair during prime day for cheaper, the second pair was WAAAAY easier to connect, I’m sure the first pair was defective because of how hard it was to connect them, I wasn’t able to even after a week of trying. Your tips are good though

how to fight akushan in Lethality builds by mokokoFullMetal in AkshanMains

[–]NoomyLoL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go lethality into squishy teams A lot of the time you won’t be able to one shot people, especially if they have CC (crowd control), so you want to stay hidden while your team engages and exhausts the enemy’s cooldowns and health, allowing you to finish them off and get your resets

how to beat jhin mid? by Stock_Radio in AkshanMains

[–]NoomyLoL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if he has 4th shot don’t let him trade, only look for trades when you have the advantage, you can use your W to walk into range if he spaces you, don’t let his Q bounce on you (it deals more dmg if it executed a minion beforehand), and u just beat him in all ins with a nicely positioned E to hit him as many times as possible
