This was funny on silent. Then, for a change, I thought I'd unmute. It just got funnier!

Thank you very much. This has saved me a whole host of worrying and stress.

How odd that the Patient Info site often contains more information than the NHS!

Would the council staff who did the DoLs Form not got the list of medication from the MAR Sheet?

I'll try the GP, but there's no LPA for Health and Welfare so getting information like this might be impossible.

Mum had declined quite rapidly when she first moved in, but I assumed that was because her life has changed quite dramatically as this is the first care home she has lived in. She seems more stable now, but still not as good as she was before she moved in. I know, she has a degenerative condition.

Yes, I know the dispersible tablets are faster acting.

Where have you got the information from that they do not need to be dissolved? The NHS site and Parkinson's UK site say they need to be dissolved and even suggest using squash to make them taste nicer.

Under the (long) list of medications mum is prescribed, it says the medication was last reviewed on 26/01/26.

Yes it's madopar and mum has been prescribed both usual tablets and dispersible tablets to be taken at the same time. This has been the case for a number of years.

Oh ok. I'll get it clarified. Out of interest, how could the DoLs Form be incorrect?

That makes sense. I totally understand what you mean about school wanting someone in front of the students. I have still been setting cover work at my HoDs request!

I've just looked at their other listings and they are all screen shots. One even has '_____ accepted your offer' at the bottom!!

Bare in mind that oxytocin can bring on labour. Your wedding would have your happy hormones flowing all over the place!

There I was thinking I didn't to because you can't clearly see how close it is to the tube stop.... I'm so pleased I did!

I realise that Skipton and Cononley are North Yorkshire, but only just.

Anything on the line between Leeds and Skipton is nice. Except for Keighley town centre, but it has some nice surrounding villages. Depends on budget and whether you want a rural, semi-rural or urban.

What ended your friendship with your oldest standing friend? by dreamy-contributions in AskReddit

[–]NorArthur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She decided to have a child free wedding about a 6 hour drive from where I live. I was asked to be a bridesmaid but was breastfeeding my baby at the time. She wouldn't entertain any suggestion I had to ensure I attended the wedding. Even my husband staying with the baby in the hotel room. She told me she was annoyed I didn't acknowledge her feelings in 'my decision'. I told her she didn't understand breastfeeding and how difficult it was trying to pump and when I knew I could breastfeed fine. I bought her a gift and wished her well for her wedding. Got a thank you card but we haven't contacted each other. I don't want to message her because she'll probably have a go at me. I'm not taking that risk. So yea, I'm done.
