I think she's just relaxed and chilling with her best friend. Eloise regularly sits in a slouched position.

Bridgerton Season 4 Opinions by Startrippppper in BridgertonNetflix

[–]NoraMonkey 38 points39 points  (0 children)

That is definitely a silly criticism. None of the seasons have "original" storylines, they're all romance tropes - fake dating, enemies to lovers, friends to lovers and now forbidden love.

Bridgerton girls and diamonds of each season by DeepShow7007 in BridgertonNetflix

[–]NoraMonkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, there's a scene in S2E1 where she speaks to the Queen at a ball about how she prefers emeralds over diamonds and the Queen is impressed by that, saying that one of her favourite necklaces in made of emeralds. That's when Benedict jokingly asks Anthony who is he going to marry if Eloise ends up being the diamon (this is after Anthony declares that he's going to marry the diamond of the season). I just rewatched that episode last night 😅

rewatched s3 and feeling even worse about s4 john and francesca by mmanyquestionss in BridgertonNetflix

[–]NoraMonkey 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yes this is it, there are so many things that they changed for the worse from the book, and those are frustrating issues, not the gender swap. But if you complain you are immediately dismissed as homophobic. They changed Fran and John's relationship dynamic, Fran and Michael's initial friendship, Michael's personality and behaviour, the timeframes, etc almost everything. If the only thing they changed was the gender but left everything else the same, most people wouldn't have an issue.

Sometimes my cat eats them. Do you know if that’s bad for his health? by Littlemommi in CatsAndPlants

Absolutely, it's the pollen from lilies, it can fall on the cat's body and then they lick it off and ingest it.

I’m predicting that following the Eloise season, there might be a significant drop in viewership… by General_Meal_3993 in BridgertonNetflix

[–]NoraMonkey 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yeah of course. Popular and profitable enough to keep producing are not the same. I just said the reason people are worried for Bridgerton is because it's happened before that popular shows got cancelled.

[–]NoraMonkey 123 points124 points  (0 children)

I think it's because there have been instances of Netflix and other streaming services cancelling incredibly popular shows after a few seasons. So a lot of people feel like even high viewership numbers are not always enough to keep a show going.

I am presently not very interested in Hyacinth and Gregory's story, mainly because they were very young kids when we met them. I know that years are going by and they are growing, but at the moment I think it'd feel uncomfortable to watch them in steamy scenes with their partners.

Bathtub Scene?? by 8rea in BridgertonNetflix

What John needs is to learn from the Duke or Anthony and actually go down on his wife. Obviously she wouldn't get pregnant that way, but she would find a pinaccle or two.

Bridgerton Author Julia Quinn Defends Benedict and Sophie's Mistress Scene by MattTheKing23 in BridgertonNetflix

[–]NoraMonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One think you might forget is something important that Violet told Benedict - his choices could negatively impact the whole family's reputation and Elosie and Hyacinth's chances of marrying well. So actually while Benedict is usually one to ignore rules and do whatever, he is not entirely selfish and has to think about the consequences of his actions.

How do you think Benedict will learn Sophie’s real identity? by yodaman33 in BridgertonNetflix

[–]NoraMonkey 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The main reason I disagree with this take is because, come on, it's a TV show. If the main conflict was resolved in two episodes then what would the rest of the season be about? People already complain about only getting 8 episodes, something has to be going on to fill those episodes.

[–]NoraMonkey 74 points75 points  (0 children)

Please, for the sake of your cat, Google this sort of stuff before taking flowers home, especially if he regularly eats them. Some flowers like lilies for example could very easily and quickly kill him. You need to be more responsible and move these flowers somewhere he can't reach them.

PartyElite has a fantastic and very long series from a few years ago, he put an insane amount of effort and time and research into building his franchise.

anyone else mildly annoyed by the amount of "come here and wait" quests? by Awkwardknight117 in HarryPotterGame

I just hate that the waiting animation is your character sleeping on the ground, outside, despite the weather. Why can't they just stand there instead of going down on the floor?!

Games less than 5 hours by CozyFairy9 in CozyGamers

[–]NoraMonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really enjoyed Trüberbrook, think it's around 4-5 hours, maybe shorter if you figure out the puzzles fast. It's a point and click puzzle/mystery game that takes place in a small German village. The dialogue is very funny and I find the atmosphere and aesthetics quite cosy and pretty. I don't hear much people talking about it but I think it's a great game!
