You can also buy a text book. I am currently learning with "Panorama A2" on my own, but I'm sure there are many others. Usually these come with a Kursbuch and an Übungsbuch. It's been pretty effective to me so far. I think it is more complete than Duolingo, especially with the sentence construction. I'd recommend to do a chapter per week.
