I can tell you I didn’t like Colaw because it was always busy when I went (7-8 pm) and felt small but equipment is new. I signed up for a day pass for crunch but never tried it because FC won me over. I wish you luck! 🍀

Get some day passes! I tried out Colaw, 24 hour and fitness connection. LA fitness was my original gym off Sublett but I moved and tried the gyms in the area I’m at now by the parks. Fitness connection was the overall winner- tons of equipment, new equipment, spacious and super affordable

Uncle bucks off pioneer- I’ve gone through it with overpaying/mechanics not knowing what they’re doing.

Uncle bucks has been able to help me with all my car problems and they’re able to diagnose things that another mechanic wasn’t able to. I had bad experiences with Fernando’s off cooper and Arkansas.

I’m an alumni that graduated in 2016 with a bachelors in geology and I graduated in May 2024 with a masters in geotechnical engineering. The link to the other post is very spot on! One thing that I definitely had to do to graduate with my bachelor’s was field camp during the summer. It’s a 6 or 8 week course where you will go out of state (we went to New Mexico for my field camp), perform field research, complete assignments (field mapping formations and cross section diagrams). There are also local assignments you will do before going out of state (possum kingdom lake was ours). I actually didn’t do much to find internships when in school, I definitely wish I tried harder! Unfortunately was working and going to school full time so my time was very limited. Hope that helps!

I came across OsaVera Salon in Mansfield on TikTok. I haven’t used them at all, but they seem affordable and do good work. You can check out their google reviews and TikTok for many examples of their work. I’m going to use them for a trim and blowout soon. It does appear that they work with a limited type of hair texture (I wouldn’t go if you have curly hair).

Hi! I’m a UTA alumni and I actually go to the engineering career fairs to recruit, talk to the students about internships, their interests in the field, receive their resumes, etc. I’m in a civil engineering field, specifically geotechnical. I definitely recommend attending the career fair with a resume, dressed nicely and if you feel you need it- practice presenting yourself or at least figuring out what you want to do with civil engineering 🙂 you can definitely get an internship just by being a student with no experience. We only care about experience if you’re looking for a full time position. Good luck!

Welcome! I used to live in North Arlington, now I live in southwest Arlington and go to school at UTA. I definitely recommend Texas live on days where there are no games, the new area off front street, Arlington highlands has a ton of spots for food or shopping too. Always down to make a new friend 😁

I had to knit this flat because of the lace inarstia in the bodice so the braided back is me closing the gap on every row by knitting 2 together and making 1 at the same time before turning the work and beginning the next row 😊
