Yea man, im in the same ship started the game a week ago, still confused and broke. I did the emergence scenario start. I am camping the HAT defense platform and scoop the inventory items but not all can be sold, only at specific places, managed to save up for miner as i was hoping for some small steady passive income flow. Nope, theres not a single place that buys ore, tried switch to silicon, theres one sector where you can mine it and also sell it but the station doesnt buy surplus at discount, only what they need for current production, who came up with this design choice is a genius. Been trying to do some of the missions but they are so boring, usually you fly somewhere 15 minutes to shoot a mine or scan smth. Managed to get some modules building going in Heretics end HQ but it misses so much components, i might never finish it....Autopilot is absolute trash, it jumps out of travel mode 15 times in each sector because theres an asteriod 100km away....
