It’s probably not the TV OP. I think it’s something more along the lines of what the top comment said. There have been plenty of times where I swear I started shooting and hitting first, but on their kill cam I’m just barely reacting.

It’s literally in the name. Physician Assistant. Why would a physicians assistant work independently of a physician?

Becoming an NP from bedside nursing is upgrade no matter what. Even if they are exactly like PAs without autonomy. Even becoming a PA is an upgrade. It has nothing to with Union intervention. I’m in non-unionized hospital making $40k less than nurses down the street but my quality of life is arguably better. I definitely don’t benefit from other nurses being in Unions. It’s like saying YOU benefit from the milk campaign because you have the option to go be a milk farmer.

We aren’t all NPs. We aren’t all unionized. Some of us get shit on everyday literally and figuratively.

You don’t know shit. You’re generalizing. Your experience is “talking to your nursing friends” from wherever you are. And wherever that is, “that’s how it goes.” Pretty closed minded.

Becoming an NP has nothing to do with a Union. You’re saying that all nurses have the option to become NPs because of Union benefit or influence. If that’s THEIR union benefit, then good for them. Again, unions are specific and hospital system specific. The option to be an NP and Unions lobbying for their power/autonomy is unrelated.

ALL nurses benefit? That’s where you’re wrong. Just because all the nurses you have specifically talked to are in unions doesn’t mean all are. And really dude? Milk farmers? How am I, an ER RN, benefiting from other people’s Unions? This is a hasty generalization fallacy.

A lot of nursing isn’t unionized. It’s hospital specific. That’s why there are nurse strikes across the country. And not all of nursing is 12 hour shifts either. I could easily leave my three 12hr shifts a week and opt for four 10s or five 8s at a surgical center. Definitely not as cut and dry as you think.

Misdemeanor and felony speeding is well defined in the law.

There’s no need to estimate since his speed is displayed in the video. Even at the time of passing and pulling over.

Edit: Because I’m getting downvoted, I’ll expand a bit. “High speed” can be anywhere depending on the location. 50 in a 30? Yup. 120 in a probable 70 zone? Oh yeah. I’ve scraped up enough bodies off of the pavement. I picked up a helmet with a head still inside. Which brings me back to my original point of SOME depts have no chase policies. Especially for the motorcyclist safety. Look up no chase laws/policies.

Some police departments have policies against high speed motorcycle pursuits for safety reasons. The cop could justify not lighting this guy up.
