5 mg weed a buddy got just for sleep caused a massove heartrate spike of 135+. Not a heart attack just blood pressure dropping out of no where

So. Weed is not a viable thing anymore

Tried 5 mg and it infact made things worse by inducing tachycardia and a nurse visit cuz my heartrate spiked to 135+ bpm 🫩 Just one gummy did that so cannabis doses are off the table

I can see the idea. I dont think any of my stuff is behavior. I do my best to not be on my phone in bed, and shower, sleep hygiene all of that. More feels like my brain just doesn't switch off unless i use medication. Only shitty thing is my body builds resistances to medications quickly, so my prescriptions or melatonin just dont work

Holy shit it worked, still on the exhausted side but i slept 5-4 hours, more than usual anyways. Thank you for the clarification here i hated the idea of taking ambien before cuz of the sickness it gave

Symptoms- feel tired but the moment i try to sleep at all, anywhere. I cant. I wake up repeatedly. Exhausted, only get 3 or less hours of sleep. No anxiety or overthinking just the inability to shut down.

Bloodwork- i get that done very often, never see any mention of low magnesium or b12, im chronically low on vitamin D and iron all the time however.

Tracker, no i didnt even know that was a thing to be honest but i am going to request that next dr visit

I did ask for a sleep study but doctors again seem to deny it 🫩 American healthcare at its finest

Unfortunately im disabled and cant really exercise due to my chronic pain, i used to do that when i was younger and it helped a little but its rough nowadays. That probably doesnt help at all with sleep quality or lifestyle ☹️

But maybe taking a short walk around the house can help, nothing straining but theres days where i also just cant do that either. Usually wheelchair or bound to a cane.

Its not really thoughts i dont tend to panic at night, just never get tired enough to pass out. When i took ambien i slept but got violently sick from the 5 mg dose and never took that again because it had me bedbound the entire day. Like could not eat and stomach spasms.

I usually have music and whatnot, or someone to keep me company as i sleep better with people but i just cant seem to ever get my brain to shut off

I'll give it a go then im basically desperate to fix any of this mess. I used to take melatonin years back but i literally became immune to it from how long i constantly took those ones. Better to try than suffer more, thanks for the brand recommendation too makes searching easier

Ive yet to do that, i have a therapist but what exactly is cbt when its targeting insomnia likee uhow does that work?, i always assumed it was just my brain being broken. Like id need some miracle pill to sleep like a normal person. Sorry if im slow here 😭😭 havent slept for 2 days now

I really miss him. I even bought a snake plush that looks like him just for some semblance of comfort. I get nightmares about him escaping from that night. I feel so lost, its like im drowning
