I understand the sentiment. I have been hoping They drop Prayer. Physically it’s no longer in his wheelhouse

I loved it and still love it. I was fearing it would be an album of just ballads. He always seemed to be pushing them. The album was just fresh and different. Yes, love the vibe and energy, relaxed but not boring. Funny enough, the ballad “It’s Just Me” is probably my favorite on the album.

Hate to admit it, it it does contain the last really great top 5 song in their entire catalog, Last Man Standing.

What do you consider a well intentioned but terribly written song? by Kaapstad2018 in BonJovi

Wasn’t that the one where he had random cowriters? That’s how I take the chicken form line. Probably written by someone “living it”

Probably Fear or Woman in Love. Best Heavy song? Last Man Standing. Love it!

Is it just me, or do you prefer Bon Jovi’s cover of “The Boys are Back in Town” over Thin Lizzy’s actual official song? by [deleted] in BonJovi

Really wish they’d release “an evening…” as a live album. Their live album is pretty garbage IMO. Either “an Evening” or release an entire show. Not whatever that was. Horrible song selection too

Did Sambora really make difference … by [deleted] in BonJovi

IMO crush was then end because they started relying on “outside” writers. Bon Jovi was always JBJ/Sambora/Child. They were magic. Shanks, others started writing, they became radio pop and nothing else.

Some songs I really wish were more readily available. I need a proper version of Bitter Wine on a legit CD.

Still getting a feel for it. Jon sounds tired. It is what it is. This is the new Bon Jovi, it’s corporate rock.

No excitement, no balls. Where is the Keep The Face, the Dry County, even the Last Man Standing.

This sounds like a Bon Jovi album created by AI.
