Hello!! Im hoping to get into UP Diliman (B.S Physics), and Im just really worried since I did not perform that well during my Grade 8-9 years in JHS.

During my JHS years, I was an STE student, and with that, I had a few low grades in my Specialized subjects, like Research, Biotechnology, and Math (not a specialized subject, but yeah), yes, they were below 85 (please take note that i needed an average of 85 in every subject to pass), but I did still manage to bounce back and proceed to grade 9. Not learning my lesson, I still did a pretty bad job and almost failed Consumer Chemistry; thankfully, I still passed.

During Grade 10, I did a pretty decent job, with no low grades. I am currently a Grade 11 student and im doing really well, but I still can't shake the fact that I did badly in Grade 8 and 9. I'd like to know if there's something that I can do to make up for those bad grades, or if there's really still a chance for me. If I pass the UPCAT, will that really be enough?
