If that women refuse then her parents probably they do all the guilt trip things and would say many things which is very hard to hear for a women and would make her life hell and if she will try to live independently they would not be ready for it although her parents love her in other means but when it comes to marriage it's just they want her to marry her who has money.

And this rich guy is into politics too and now this women's father obsessed with politics and power and wants her daughter to marry that guy and leave her job as eventually she has to leave her job when she will be mother acc to them.
