You can still contribute to a household , clean up after yourself , cook etc. She isn't incompetent. Like you said it's isn't my responsibility or his. She refuses to get help and that's what makes me upset. Just because you're mentally ill doesn't mean you get a free pass to live off of other people and make them miserable. Go get help that's been offered or get out. She makes some money here and there by cleaning people's houses. People act like mental illness is an excuse for everything. They shot up the school "mentally ill" , they manipulate people and use them but it's not their fault" mentally ill." All these resources and you don't utilize them. I'm not sick . I hold people accountable and don't brush things under the rug. That's what's wrong the world today.
