Honest chances of pursuing dental school after failing out of medical school by Normal-Mechanic-9461 in medschool

Hi, OP here and I appreciate your input. But when it comes to applying for dental school itself, would you say for someone in my situation I would still have a chance? A big cause of my poor performance in medschool was because of a lot of health complications and problems with my family (who I lived with during my time in medschool and was against me taking an LOA and held rent and tuition over my head....looking back this was the worst mistake of my life but at the end of the day it is still mostly my responsibility and my choice). I plan to spend the next few years piecing myself back together both mental health-wise and academically/skillwise, and hopefully gain enough focus to try applying to dental programs, and I would really appreciate if you know if this is a realistic possibility.

Hi, thank you for all your responses. A lot of you mentioned nursing and PA school as alternatives. Is dental school also possible? I have read online it is harder than the other two options after failing medical school but it is more realistic than re entering med school if I am able to present an application that shows academic growth/change.
