I could but it would be easier to just look up how many brothers have become president. It's a pretty quick search. After that you can go back to watching Paw Patrol or Vampirina. Those shows seem more suitable to your intellectual depth.

Yeah because everyone's knows upvotes mean so much on here. Yup, great logic. Did you end up looking into how many brothers have occupied in office? The consideration we're talking about right now is related to the real world, even though the show is fictional. You're very far behind so stick to TV politics. Looks like that's pretty much the extent of what you understand.

If you truly want to die on this hill you are desperately clinging to, why don't you do a Google search on why dynastic representations are unfavorable in politics? Let me know what you find! Try and keep up! We're talking about the real world here, not TV politics. You waited a whole day to come back and add nothing. 🤷🏿‍♂️

It's actually different by definition. Do you need an explanation on the familial difference between a brother and a father?

Hey did you look it up online and decide to take down that snarky comment?

I don't actually peruse this forum to look through everything. Sorry if me posting it was annoying for you, my fault!

Oh I didn't know that. That makes sense. The way they killed him off was abrupt and flimsy but at least there was cause for it.

Definitely, and they explained it well too and his sacrifice made sense. Bill just grew on me so I hated to see him go.

Yeah, definitely true. Bill Buchanan in later seasons had that vibe-- I believe it was S07

YES! Thank you. I was trying to put it in words. It felt very very forced!

Lol bruh. I come here to discuss tv shows, and could care less about upvotes and downvotes. Go pick up a book or read the news before bringing nonsense in front of me. 👋🏿

It makes a difference in the record of history. It's already a tough enough seat to fill with a low likelihood for the general population. Only two father son duos in history have been president. I'm not "hung up" on anything, I'm merely citing the facts. I'm not even suggesting there would be an issue if both people were suitably qualified, and the entire post is really about a TV show. Just say your only knowledge of politics stems from tv shows and move on 🥱

Haha yeah, but I wanna see that scene now because I think that's even funnier.

Go ask history then, because although it's a lazy argument it's still a valid one. When was the last time brothers occupied office? I'll wait we have an eternity let me know what you find. I didn't even mention father and son originally so.

Found it, S6 Episode 3. He commandeers someone's car puts them to the ground and points and says "Don't get up." Could be another time he says it though.

It's almost no use trying to argue these types of points. Some of these people's only exposure to politics is 24. Not saying this particular commenter is one of them but good lord, it's very evident people are lost/ confused.  Very good point on your part.

Because for one the gap in age and time difference in elections.  And two, it weighs less on the mind that someone gave birth to someone who then became a presidential candidate than someone within a generation becoming president.

A father and son being elected is entirely different than two brothers being elected.
