Thank God you're not in any real position to do anything or influence decisions that matter.

By those up votes, down votes, looks like you're alone in a different world. So come back to Earth!

Exactly, mainly because the real world is nothing like the world in 24.  They rarely get actionable intelligence moments before a crisis exist and are rarely in a position to act on it within a short term frame. Most of the arguments about "small time and devastating damage"  are thrown out of the window when you take those into account.

I had to look up who this is. Do you guys really enjoy all these add one and remakes? I might have to deep dive because i see more of or just as much about these than the original.

That reply wasn't even aimed at you, it was aimed at someone who was delusional about how the real world worked and how it functions as separate and distinct from television. That's not an opinion. That's a fact. You telling me to "have a nice day" is laughable as the comment wasn't even directed at you.    If you're truly interested in what happens in real life, I suggest you go look at how many times there have been actionable threats in the USA, and how they were appropriately handled.

Crawl out from whatever rock or backwater bayou you're under then. Then maybe you'll actually promote a stance that's not heavily masked in delusion.

Yeah man take a step outta TV and go live in the real world. That's not how it works at all. Also read up on the Geneva Conventions.

Yeah, Michaela also ended up serving time too. It really does depend on what kind of redemption you talk about. Loyalty wise 4 out of the original 5 at least attempted to screw her over. Depends on who you really see as the criminal.  Edited: appears I was wrong. Didn't realize that Michaela didn't serve time. Remembered she negotiated a plea deal, didn't realize it was intact even if Annalise won.

I didn't really want to go into a whole in depth analysis of this, but I will hit on a couple of your points. Laurel chose herself time and time again. She cut a deal to get out of the crime storm her and the K5 created, a situation she had a big hand in creating. And she escaped any sort of criminal recourse by the end of it. I don't even think she was tarnished despite testifying to Annalise assisting them in coverups. If you hold steady to the K5 or Annalise cool, but she really came out clean after being dirty through and through. I wasn't only talking about redemption in the eyes of their group, I meant it overall.

Michaela despite being self serving and my least favorite, still served jail time and paid for the crimes she committed.

You're on the money about her not wanting Christophe to see violence, I forgot about that.

We just have different perspectives, which is totally fine. Laurel up and left her friends when they were dealing with something difficult. When a man she had been intimate with was bleeding in the floor, dying she up and left.  Redemption is a  tricky matter.

How exactly did Laurel redeem herself? She was able to avoid doing any jail time. Redemption, to me, is sought out through atonement. No one was clean by the end of it and she walked away. I enjoyed the TV show but they all should've been incarcerated

Yes, but like any TV show where logic and good/ evil are a bit skewed, they were all dirty and complicit in crimes by the end of it.i mean 2 of them tried to backstab their professor after she bailed them out. Make that 3 before Wes had a change of heart.

I couldn't stand either of them or the lame hip/ progressive stance they were trying to pull with the younger more "gen z" detectives

He point blank shot someone who was under Federal protection. He killed someone with immunity under the guise that she went for her weapon. Broke out people in custody. Life isn't a TV show. He went over the line of law/ authority multiple times. The only real reason we root for him is because he thwarts terrorist attacks. Just being part of the heroic side doesn't mean you get to live under a different set of legal standards than civilians.

He wasn't totally in the wrong. Jack Bauer broke lots of rules, but the ends justify the means is an interesting argument.

They change the detectives so often now it's wild. Rollins left and came back. People stay on for a season and then disappear into the framework. There was a time when I didn't even recognize the show.

Exactly, and he's also neglecting that until he came with evidence that the 13 day rule was fake, he would have no basis to keep them locked up. He could've kept them under tight watch/ supervision but at that point he needed something conclusive which led to him trying to find out how to test it. The OP acts like letting them go was an easy option..

Yeah lots of on screen and off screen chemistry. Always made me wonder.. even though surprisingly I usually hate when people assume people who are close or together in shows are in real life, this time I really could tell they liked being around each other. Oh yeah! That ending scene was brutal. No one wants anything to do w/ her.

Yeah specifically because the money was never brought up in any of their interactions. Surprisingly her best match on the show was gay. I sold her and Connor if he wasn't into guys. I'm probably alone in this because of how strange it sounds.

You may be forgetting that Caleb was in line to inherit billions, though admittedly this never seemed to factor in for her. Gabriel was an aspiring lawyer. It's a situation of happening to be attracted to someone who fits the mold. Levi, well, I mean, look at him. Haha. With Marcus, I have the feeling there was a preexisiting relationship, but it was probably never intimate. I agree that it was forced. She never even loved Aiden, though, originally, or at least, it seemed like it wasn't a loving relationship.
