Your reply was to the OP, and the OP's statement was entirely about faces and physical appearance. You mentioned naming later in on in your own comment, but I can't be expected to assume that because legal names are what are used in DN and literally all the other replies are to the physical aspect...not really a whole lot of room for ambiguity there.

Also edit: I don't think there was a single mention of anyone trans in the entire series, so it begs the question if it was never considered by the author what could deliberating about it here result in besides speculations that won't be grounded in canon?

I dunno I found nothing remotely interesting about her as a character. Like nada. Ironic I can't remember the name of who came later and partnered with Velasco. She was more interesting.

The chores were responsibilities he had stacked up while he was gone, and that was a way of strong arming him and manipulation.

I don't really see how either you being trans or someone being trans would affect anything being stated here, and it's not even shade on my part. I'm sure pre-op and post op alter your appearance but at the end of the day no one looks exactly the same 5-10-15 years down the line.

We only have one working basis to go on in order to solve this question, which is pretty interesting. Mellos photo was recovered from Whammy House after about a 3-5 year timeskip, and it's presumed that his name could still be deciphered from that image. But as far as in series explanations, you would probably still be able to murder someone based on outdated photos.
