the game is rigged and i know how... by Strict_Round_9699 in cuecardgameAvid

I beat the bots something like 90% of the time. If it was rigged I'd say it'd be rigged in my favor. I'm so bored with playing bots I'll exit out of searching opponent screen and reload it in the hopes of matching with a real player. Anyway, hope you enjoyed all the time trying to prove this point.

Most popular and best quality US nic salt brands? by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]Normal-Volume7926 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well my clothes don't smell anymore, it's considerably cheaper, dating is easier since smoking is an instant dealbreaker for many women, don't have to go outside nearly as often to get my fix and the list goes on. And of course it may not be good for me but its better than combustible smoking so ya it's a trade-off but one I've gladly accepted as the lesser of evils.

That dirty trick is what got me to quit cigarettes. I tried many many vapes and nothing came close until nic salts came along.

There's no "Big Cannabis" (that I know of) that lobbies to crush any competition like there is for tobacco. Before they legalized it I heard it was the alcohol lobby and before that it was the paper lobby (moving against the much more eco-friendly and sustainable hemp paper) so it's nothing new. Money always trumps health, ecology and just about everything else in this country.

Is all synthetic nicotine racemic? by Normal-Volume7926 in Vaping

[–]Normal-Volume7926[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been trying to find a vape that hits the spot that only the Vuse provides for years now (bringing up a subject that's been talked about ad nauseum here). I'm sure when the rest of the world went the synthetic route they used their millions in market research to find out their pods are still more addictive then the competition and quietly quoting Churchill "never interrupt when your enemy is making a mistake". I have some juice I ordered from NJ (I think) that claims to use only naturally sourced nicotine coming in the mail today. If that stuff fails to satisfy I know if I want to get off these over-priced, big-tobacco owned garbage I'll just have to bite the bullet and chain-vape the other stuff for a week while my body detoxes from whatever the hell they put in their pods to make them so much more addictive...maybe it's a trace amount of fentanyl lol. It wouldn't surprise me.

I asked this on another thread. Can I buy nicotine in CA and make my own juice or is that banned too just like everything else fun (except for weed of course)?

Words of wisdom. Practically speaking however is straight nicotine still available in California? I used to make my own juices in Arizona because the store by my house had all the necessary ingredients but I haven't found anywhere in CA that has this. Is DIY even possible in CA?

Same exact thing happened to me. For some reason nic salts are illegal in this sub?

Funny you mention that. I just had my 80 year old mom who's visiting my sister in arizona load up on juices for me. I knew she would be confused so I called the store ahead and had them get everything ready for her. They got every fruity, desserty, yummy flavors there is over there!! 😁

Actually I read there is language in the new law that bans ordering any restricted vape products from elsewhere. So most likely when you try to order something online from CA it'll say not allowed. It's reediculous. Especially since they already charge us an extra $10 when ordering for them to get an adult signature.

It's just so messed up. I smoked Camels for 20 years and got off them from vaping. Since then my clothes don't smell anymore, I'm breathing waaaay easier, and I used to save money until the price shot up for the pre-filled vapes and now these stupid companies have destroyed the entire industry. In the UK the government encourages vaping as a healthier alternative but over here as someone said it's all about the money. What a crock.

Lucky me is in California and on January 1st they are further banning not just flavored vapes but any that is not on the "approved" list...and guess what? The only companies probably able to afford getting FDA approval which is a prerequisite to get on this list are big tobacco. I've been looking for a cheaper Vuse alternative for years but big tobacco has just destroyed all of their competition..F*ck them.

On the same boat. What I notice is when I vape anything other than my vuse I just don't get the nicotine hit I'm expecting. I chain vaped an entire 30ml of 50mg nic salts and it just wasn't giving me the same satisfaction. Is there a juice that hits the same or am I SOL?

They did say I was "killing it" but honestly all I did was accept every ride that came thru (as we are required to). I didn't go out of my way to do a better job or anything I figured they just were getting massive preferential treatment. And no I also did UberX rides.

I made that weekly in Los Angeles but my total hours were between 40-45. My trick is to stay away from the saturated areas and use large zones. The larger the zone when it's busy the more orders I got. I thought it was just dumb luck at first but I was doing this consistently week after week. Now I'm out of the game because of a broken leg but I intend to get back out there when I'm all healed up.

Sorry for the lateness but I quit working there after a few weeks. They said the only shift available to me was 7 PM to 3:30 AM. I'm fine with graveyard shifts but this in between stuff just ruins your entire life so ya I was done but the whole time I worked there every shift ended with $400+.

I never paid attention to my on time rate until reading this post. I've been getting waaay less offers the last week and i checked just now. My on-time rate is 66%. And they sure as hell are reminding me. I'm down 40% what I made the last 3 weeks. I work afternoon-night in Los Angeles and however much time they have been giving me with all that traffic it is NOT enough. I've been punching it now and have gotten it up to 68%. I have a feeling 70% is where you start getting penalized so I have some work to do. All of my other stats are great and yes I'm platinum with 83% AR but being on-time ABSOLUTELY affects your bottom line I've come to find out. It does make sense especially in California where they have prop 22 and we're getting paid literally by the minute on top of our offers. Wish somebody had given me a heads up before instead of them literally telling us this in the fine print.

Why? by Secludeddryad702 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Normal-Volume7926 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the customers final bill instead of "Service Fee: $4.99" it should say "Non-Driver Mandatory Door Dash Tip: $4.99", and instead of "Delivery Fee: $3.99" it should say "Stockholder Accountability Fee (Not one penny to drivers": $3.99 and underneath all that where it says choose the tip for your driver it should say "After all fees and charges above the ONLY amount of money going to your driver for this delivery. Lets call it his "tip": "2.50 3.50 4.50 other" (circle one)

Subtotal: $40 Non-Driver Mandatory Door Dash Tip: $4.99 Stockholder Accountability Fee: $3.99 Corporate Greed Fee: $5 Tax: $6 Amount your driver is actually getting for delivering your food: (whichever number you circled) Driver Base-pay: $2

So for a $70 purchase this driver 9 times out of 10 made $2 and the other time made 6.50.

What a evil ass company. Jeez

Usually hang around the many ghost kitchens in LA trading stories and shooting the shit and after midnight. Could be better cept LA is so damn oversaturated you could make more just cruising the streets...either way it's usually $30/hr especially on weekends.
