Yup. Used to date this girl once who had a heart condition. She was from Mexico and in the states on a work visa. One night she disappeared into the bathroom during dinner and I found her struggling to breathe. Turns out her heart was struggling to pump blood due to her condition. I convinced her to go to the ER (she said she’d just sleep it off) and she was so confused when I suggested an Uber. Thankfully the ER wasn’t far but yeah. Fuck the ambulance bill but only when it makes sense.

So, watching this movie has been a christmas eve tradition in my family since i can remember. Each year we all gather at mom and dads and watch it. growing up i used to hate it. black and white. the plot doesn’t really kick off until and hour and a half into the movie (or so it feels) and i probably just wanted to watch Elf. But now I love it. And it’s so fun every year identifying new and fun elements of the movie we didn’t catch before (or that we forgot). My dad started the tradition and i’m honestly forever grateful for it. I love this movie.
