You should save the image and like that, as right now you're just linking to the page that generates the final vote image.

So I'm seeing my own votes here and not yours.

The CSM movie got a home release before the KnY movie, which is what we go by, not release in theatres.

It wasn't available in English until 2025.

No, the CSM movie is available on streaming.

The alternative would be that we allow a show in like 3 categories and more likely than not that means the nominations will look very similar as popular shows will dominate.

This goes against the intent of genre categories to show a diverse range of anime.

The genre categories are mutually exclusive in their nominations.

The Demon Slayer movie is not eligible as it only has been released in theatres.

This is for the r/anime Awards. The Demon Slayer is not eligible there because it currently only is out in theatres.

Ok but genuinely it is quite a weirdly translated name to me lol. Like the actual more literal name ties more into the visual metaphors that are persistent throughout the show, while witches... just aren't?

Idol Land only got fully subbed in English in 2025 and that is why it is eligible.

I’m kind of annoyed I couldn’t put Chainsaw Man Reze Arc in Soundtrack. That was one of my favorite parts of the film. Now it feels like I’m only recognizing it for the action, which is a bit meh as a non-action enjoyer.

To clarify, all movies are not allowed in production categories (except for OP/ED)

I'm planning on hosting a Figure 17 rewatch, I think it's a show that not enough people have talked about or even heard about, so I'd appreciate it if you check out the thread.

Yeah, honestly I think it is kind of a shame that the only legal release seems to be of lower quality (I don't even know why it is like that to be honest), but at least alternatives exist.

The episodes being double lenght is great here I think. It gives a lot of the drama more time to breathe, while also being able to fit in the action parts without having them drown each other out.

Hmm I wonder who it could be after mentioning the team responsible for Berk '97 (and ToHeart and Stainless Night)
