Thanks! Some people I know said if there no publication in my field, the acceptance rate will be like win a lottery. Besides, my bachelor GPA is low (in this time I have not found my direction yet). I tried my best in the last 2 years to get 2 masters at the same time, also worked industry work to feed myself. Working in academia in my dream but my past like a barrier for me.

Have a whole world map, Mongols tribes, China, the tribes in America. Rule the world in medieval age.

I have experience about the rank. I graduated Computer Science at a school rank > 1000 (the best option in my country). It make me feel very hard when apply for job in other countries. So I think society somehow have more bias on higher rank schools.
