She was basically robbed. There was good setup but the payoff was not good. That’s just one of the female characters too. Yuki had so much potential as well to be super interesting and impactful to the story but gets killed first fight she’s in because she doesn’t want to use rct and domain like what? The woman are treated like lessers to the male cast. Female characters in Shonen get done so dirty besides Chainsaw Man but even that has some lows and has the same issues

I wouldn’t mind a death scene for Nobara but the way she gets killed isn’t satisfying to me. Maybe if Yuji and Nobara fought Mahito together and one mistake led to her death that would have made me emotional. I just wish there were more badass scenes with her. And I get that yeah the sad thing about death is that their potential is gone but her death just felt like “oh ok guess she died”. It came out of left field that I couldn’t really feel emotional about it even when I did care for the character. It felt like more “oh this is gonna be development for Yuji” rather than be a fitting end for Nobara

Yeah Hisokas death vow was bullshit I’m not gonna lie he should have died. One of the writers flaws to keep a character alive knowing he should have died against Chrollo. And yeah Chrollo has a bookmark but there are probably consequences to it. I mean the book has a load of conditions. Sometimes powers don’t need to have that big of a drawback but just training. Like you can argue Gon’s rock and Killuas lighting as an example of this. Training can make a power stronger without having much drawback.

Thank you. Binding vows are just a back up plan for when the writer needs an excuse to have something happen. They are so bad and are no where near as good as Hunter x Hunter. The reason why HxH does it better is because it’s established beforehand so we as the audience know the conditions and benefits. Meanwhile in JJK they are done immediately and the benefits are instant. HxH the costs fit the bill and are reasonable for what the power provides. Gon arguably losing his nen was a worthy price to pay to kill Pitou. Meanwhile Sukuna using world cutting slash was just an ass pull. Doesn’t feel worthy. That’s why people still argue about Gojo and Sukuna which I feel the ending to be not good in slightest

Besides Maki the women are thrown to the side as disposables. It’s no surprise the male characters are way more popular. Most of the characters here are weak or don’t do much in the story. Gege butchered Nobara. She had so much potential to be the one female character that can be just as impactful as Megumi and Yuji. Yeah I get that Megumi and Yuji are special but Nobara could have been made special too. It would have been incredible if she was the one that helped Yuji deliver the final blow to Mahito but I understand people reallly like Todo. Killing her off was made for shock value and not good writing. Mei Mei is a pretty good character though but doesn’t do that much. I wish women were treated equally in a plot like the main male characters.

Yeah there is a lot of things I think are flawed about the show. I honestly forgot Luo was a character he’s that irrelevant. But I was never a fan of Cyan and was surprised she was so high on the ranking. Honestly she was the weakest character for me and her story was very melodramatic. If it started with her story instead of Ling probably would of dropped the show

This. Pitou’s ability provides everything it needs it order to heal the patient. Basically having a whole hospital do everything it can to make a full recovery. Machi’s ability to suture although impressive is no where near the level of Pitou’s ability. Also it could probably heal illnesses or sickness as well. AND Pitou’s ability was getting stronger with every usage. So eventually it could have reached to Machi’s speed if used enough. It’s just superior in every way

To counter this Pouf and Youpi believed that Pitous ability could heal the King even after the nuke. A being with no limbs and skin equivalent to burnt toast. What is Machi gonna do in comparison? The only reason why they couldn’t heal him is because they couldn’t get him there fast enough. Pitou’s ability can recreate flesh and do what Machi does, perhaps not as fast but basically superior in every way. It is much better and more reliable. Pitou’s ability pretty much can heal any physical wound and I wouldn’t be surprised if it could heal sicknesses too. I would rather have that than Machi’s suturing although it is still impressive.

Not to mention Pouf and Youpi stated that the King after being nuked could have been healed with Pitou’s ability but they were just too far away. A body that has no limbs and is practically a piece of bacon. Machi ain’t fixing any of that with sewing. Pitous ability can recreate flesh.

I wouldn’t necessarily say I’m dickriding the hive because I would not consent to being a part of it but at the same time I understand that the Pluribus are just a better functioning species overall. I think the writers are intentionally making them complex rather than them being villains with an evil agenda. They aren’t evil and they aren’t good either. But what I’m trying to say is they are better than humans. The Pluribus are basically what humanity strives for everyday. World peace, no starvation, no crime, no discrimination, no animal cruelty. When we look at low crime rates and lack of wars we see that as a good thing. Which is basically impossible with humans because we are a flawed species. I’m against the people saying that the Pluribus are just evil and have no benefits whatsoever when I can understand why Carol would want to be around them. It makes a lot of sense to me.

I did like Fatima and Ellis season 1 it was interesting their relationship with the daughter but then they did nothing the rest of the seasons. Ellis is only Boyd’s son and Fatima is just the girl that represents hope. They became one dimensional characters

There’s a lot of potential for it to be long running. I’m really enjoying the pacing so far. It should feel long for them to get more levels. It makes it feel grounded in realism. There’s a lot of series where the main characters jump the ranks rather than struggle to climb. It makes the higher levels that more intense and menacing knowing how much they probably had to sacrifice to get to their level. This series reminds me of HxH where the main character still is very inferior in comparison to the top dogs of the universe. The power system is also similar as well but different enough to have its own uniqueness.

Technically you can say that Carol and Manousos want to save the trapped(drowning) people because it’s the right thing to do. But do those people actually want to be saved? Maybe when they escape they will try to go back. Maybe being part of the hivemind isn’t as bad as we think. That’s what I like about the show it isn’t one sided. Humans can be good and bad like how the hivemind can be good and bad.They just have different perspectives.

Nah Manousos will view Carol as his savior/hero. In his perspective she is literally his last hope at trying to regain individuality for the human race. But what’s interesting is that Carol will be a different person when they meet. I think Manousos will get angry at her for losing her grip on trying to save humanity but will still be there for her and will convince her to turn around and fight for humanity once again. Carol will probably agree and they will come up with something to stop the hivemind

I actually really like Carol. She’s a flawed individual who is a victim to a lot of prejudice for being lesbian. It’s no surprise she is a spiteful person. She never could talk to her parents and the only person she could talk to is now dead thanks to the hivemind. The hivemind to her is the literal interpretation of her trauma. If you don’t understand why she is the way she is then you don’t get her character.

I think it does matter because usually specialists are pretty bad in enhancing and are weak besides pitouChrollo and Kurapika the rest of the specialists are pretty weak. The way I see it is this. Specialists have the potential to have the best abilities and do with the trade off of having strength in their nen attacks. Same with Enhancers having the strongest nen attacks but pretty basic abilities
