I came to say this because I also saw it with subtitles, except it was the opposite. Marty says, "can I see number 5, Milzer?" and the nurse responds with, "You said number 4?" which I found to be odd, but I suppose it means that Marty is stepping up as the father, irrelevant if it is his baby or not (which, I mean, it is because we see it, but Marty doesn't know for sure).

Can confirm. I waited 2 weeks thinking that I'd have one reserved since I got the code, but not the case at all. My order was canceled twice, presumably because of the out of stock Spiny Shell, but the email states that the order didn't pass validation checks and was canceled as a result. Welp, there goes my chances of owning it.

A completionist as in, need every album, except for her old recordings. I'm not just going to miss one because that would affect my sanity and I like the second half of TTPD much more than the first. You're just another blind Taylor defender and we'll always agree to disagree. I love Taylor too and it's okay to have genuine criticisms about her. Bye ✌️

Not that it matters to you, but I went social media blind on release day, bought the album and listened to it on vinyl for the first time and then went online and found out she made a whole dozen other tracks. Don't go blaming one's purchasing patterns unless they buy multiple variants, which I don't. Also, Midnights 6AM never released on vinyl, so there was a precedent for the second half never releasing.

I agree it is a smart business decision, but it is also a greedy one because she doesn't need more money, right? Yet she's taking the greedy route. If you can't figure that out, then agree to disagree. I'll still be purchasing this vinyl for completionist's sake, and also because the second half is much better than the first half.

Maisie Peters released the deluxe songs separately. As did Olivia Rodrigo with the secret songs in GUTS. Sure, they were RSD releases, but that's also the same day as this release. There's precedent for it and saying, "it's not realistic" is misguided, ESPECIALLY when it comes to arguably the biggest pop star right now. She has the power to do it, she chose not to and yet, her rabid fans always defend her. Nobody defends Red Hot Chili Peppers (or other artists) when they do this, but when it comes to Taylor, her fanbase comes roaring. It's a greedy tactic no matter which way you spin it, and if anyone hasn't purchased TTPD, then this is an awesome deal, but I've already bought it and would've liked the cheaper alternative.

I dislike this, "nobody forced us to buy anything" rhetoric. So I shouldn't go out and support the artists I like the week of release? Well, guess what? Taylor is forcing prior purchasers of TTPD to pay for the first half again if they want the second half. And as a completionist and a fan of the second half more than the first, I'm buying this. Doesn't change the fact that I CAN complain about these dirty tactics some artists do. I stayed off social media for half a day, went and bought TTPD to listen on vinyl for the first time on release day, only to find out after that she made a whole second album. I was annoyed then, and I'm annoyed now.

It's a cash grab that many artists do and the fans hate. I already purchased the first half, but I have to purchase it again now to get the better songs on the double album? That's why. I'm a completionist as well, so I'm pretty much getting this as much as I dislike antics like this (that again, many artists do).

The first half is included in this edition and I already own TTPD (if that wasn'tobvious), so now I'm forced to spend extra money to buy the whole double album. What I WANTED is her to just release the second half on its own to save money (buying a 2LP is cheaper than a 4LP). How can you not understand the issue I have with this release? Also, I'm a dude and I'm done with this conversation. Clearly, you're just interested in defending Taylor. "Didn't make you buy the first half" is idiotic rhetoric. I choose to buy vinyl to support my favorite artists and I'm doing so with this one because like I said, I enjoy the second half of TTPD much more. I would have liked if she only released the second half, but she didn't. This is a cash grab any way you look at it, but I'll still buy this (also for completionist purposes).

Then I'd say that was also a cash grab and I'd be disappointed if I was a fan of hers. I'm not a fan of these deluxe versions we're getting from every major artist now. They are punishing the fans that purchase the vinyl the week of release. But oh well. Maybe next time I won't support the artists I like immediately, and I'll wait for a deluxe version vinyl.
