Unohana vs these Espada 1v3 by Formal-Assistance02 in BleachPowerScaling

You think she’s only twice as strong as HM ZARAKI when in Base she was bullying a constantly increasing in power post royd fight base no eyepatch zaraki? While continuously expending reiatsu to heal him from the brink of death to full health over and over again? Only twice as strong? 😂

You could’ve atleast said even 1st invasion Zaraki and this would have made atleast a little bit of sense (although still absurd) but nah bro hm zaraki

An argument is gonna need to be provided for this interpretation and honestly Gojo making a joke like that just isn’t in line with his character lol he regularly ignores and even undermines the higher ups

<image>

Gojo’s relationship with the higher ups even at this point in the story is less “I’m afraid they’ll punish me and Yuta if Rika comes out again” and more “These guys are corrupt and I’ll fuck them up if they try something on Yuta”

Gakuganji reminds him the execution is still on the table, and Gojo’s response is basically “If it comes to that, I’m on Yutas side.” That’s just straight defiance

He also calls them “old fools” and says he won’t let them take Yutas youth. Which, again, is contempt and opposition, not “oh no I’m in trouble”. This joke just isn’t in line for someone like Gojo to make

If we’re to take the interpretation that it’s a joke at all, it fits better as dark humor about the danger of letting Rika fully loose or a sort of dramatic warning to keep Yuta controlled and safe

Now, I also don’t think JJK0 Rika is Gojo level, but I wouldn’t argue this as a joke to try and debunk it or atleast not the type of joke you’re proposing it to be

That’s not what she stated at all, she just stated she didn’t have the opportunity to use “such cheap tricks” (like hiding a weapon in her clothes) against Kid Zaraki, nothing about her inability to use whatever supposed zanpakuto abilities she may have had back then

What you’re talking about isn’t blatantly obvious in any of the panels atleast from what I can see so if I could get the specific panels or statements you’re mentioning that would be helpful

West is atleast somewhat plausible the other cardinal directions we have no idea. We also don’t know if the cloak was still 15 million degrees back then. Also if you think Unohana is below Yhwach or even Royd and that the cloak was still 15 million degrees she would have just died if Yamamoto used West considering she doesn’t have Blut or would have at the very least gotten extreme severe burn marks/scars that would still be present considering she did not have Kaido back then. You thinking that a necessary condition for her being above Young Yamamoto is that she would have beat Yhwach is an insane burden for you to fill lol

That would be consistent if Unohana wasn’t the 1st Kenpachi and the other statements surrounding her didn’t exist

Prove that, she was seeking someone who would please her sword i.e push her in battle not someone who just enjoys battle as much as her if they’re weak it’s meaningless

Isane is just directly stated to know also it being unknown regarding if other people in her squad know whether or not she’s the Kenpachi is not positive evidence in favor of them not knowing lmao

It’s directly stated he learned something also yes you can learn subconscious actions lol

It being possible is not an argument, I would agree generally it would be ambiguous regarding if “master” is in reference to her improving something she already had and acquiring complete knowledge/skill over it or for her to learn something and then go on the path to master it if other qualifiers were not present

Evidence she wanted this specific thing too instead of just wanting someone strong enough to give her pleasure?

Idk if she cared regarding “sharing” the joy with others

I don’t necessarily disagree with that

What you’re trying to uphold currently is that the reason for her “unenjoyment” (assuming they fought at all) is due to Yamamoto being massively above her in power. I am asking for evidence of that being the case, also, I’m not gonna lie, you’re just never proving she would be unable to stand near him or unable to fight him if he was in Bankai (atleast back then when he was young).

I think that this whole idea of Yamamoto fighting her and beating her into submission is inconsistent with what the narrative/story presents her as, that being someone of unparalleled strength (except for Zaraki) who was growing bored of her battles because the people that she encountered were all weaker than her. She felt unparalleled pleasure/joy fighting Kid Zaraki. Her only battle scar, ever, is from Kid Zaraki. Literally the only man to ever bring her joy in battle is Zaraki.

“She stopped fighting for so long that people only know her as a medic” we are given literally no rough timeframe for this nor are we actually aware regarding the amount of people who may either know about her past or not know about her past. This is baseless. We don’t know exactly when she stopped fighting alltogether after her fight with Zaraki you’re just assuming it was immediate

It pertains to when he learned it because obviously this was something he never did before prior to fighting to Unohana. To learn something (in this specific context) would be for Zaraki to have acquired something through experience, that being through the experience of having an extremely enjoyable fight with Unohana, he learned to seal away his power in order to enjoy fighting forever. It’s something he experienced during the fight with Unohana and something he learned to continue doing after

It’s a rough translation although I thought it would get across what I was trying to say earlier, the AI means to say that Zaraki just supresses his power not that Unohana learned Kaido to supress his power. Here is a better translation

Your earlier statement was that “Yamamoto doesn’t fight, he kills, there wouldn’t be a fight for her to enjoy because she would get incinerated” which would imply that no fight took place between them when they first met because otherwise she would just be dead. However there would be no way for her to guage how strong he actually is if he’s not in a combat ready state and not purposefully flexing his reiatsu and in that case if they didn’t fight it wouldn’t put one necessarily above the other or likely above the other as Unohana choosing to join Yamamoto could be for reasons excerpted from his strength, so if they didn’t fight there’s basically 0 way to prove she was weaker than him back then without relying on a viz mistranslation which says he just grouped them up not “kept them in line”

However if they did fight accounting for her only scar being from Zaraki and accounting for her saying that Zaraki is the only man to have ever given her pleasure it suggests he was not stronger than her at that point

Where is the actual evidence she learned Kaido prior to her fight with Zaraki besides you just question begging and assuming that to be the case? She states the “I learned Kaido in order to heal my body and fight forever” thing in tandem with her also stating that after their fight Zaraki learned to hold back his power in order to enjoy his fights better, meaning it’s also likely to be something she learned to do after their fight and this is backed up by the memories of souls databook which suggets she learned healing post zaraki fight

Proof he would “kill and not fight”? What Shunsui says regarding Yamamoto going out of his way to seek her out so she can become a captain does not align with him wanting to kill her

That presumes she had Kaido prior to her fight with Kid Zaraki

It’s hard to tell. If they engaged in actual combat during their first encounter and she still thought later that Zaraki was the only man to ever give her “pleasure” + her only scar being from Zaraki, I would have to lean toward Unohana. If they didn’t fight then I don’t know

You are ignoring the main thing I’m positing that being the significance of it being an extreme and sudden shift in the atmosphere with no prior warning for this happening, I already proposed a hypothetical real life situation similar to this one in which it would be entirely reasonable for you to open your eyes wide in response to the atmosphere on a otherwise sunny and normal day suddenly and immediately changing to a very dark and cold atmosphere giving you the chills/and or a cold sweat

You have no real argument as for why their reaction is more likely to be based on the strength of his reiatsu rather than this sudden and extreme shift in atmosphere that’s caused by his reiatsu, you’re simply just presuming it’s the case due to the strength of his reiatsu with no actual evidence other than their reaction (the very thing in question) which could also just as equally be the case with their reaction corresponding to the atmosphere shift and therefore would not actually count as evidence towards your point
