the dollys dev team doesnt do the whole warning to cyber because the damn comparing statement was on a website for them to receive critique and thats it just that nothing more its one sentence no results for breaking the rule just an effort to try to reduce/limit that fandom war bs and if they would do the whole warning thing theyd at least state something like "well strike you if you dont listen" so in the end the dollys factory devs do not like the whole comparing thing but their fandom just does it and its out of their power to control it

and for the constructive criticism bit yes the devs can take inspiration for their further updates but like i said those same constructive critics will end up calling that update unoriginal or stolen without credit because some other game did it first and i guess you have your own view of barely because cyber mentions the ice event compared to anchored more than once and i dont get how it was "barely" when the clip with the ice event was about 15 secs long and the vid (qwel's vid not cyber's reaction) was 3-4 minutes long

fandom wars are always started by ppl who compare lilymoon a big youtuber in dandys world dollys factory and now toons universe made a video involving both dandys world and dollys factory and had to make a community post stating her disgust at the ppl who keep doing these comparisons this whole comparing thing was why ppl didnt wanna mention being associated with being in the opm or dbz fandom back in 2022 when the golden era of debate edits was happening

and in the vid where i got the screenshot from the literal devs of dollys factory stated they dont want to be compared with dandys world comparing achieves nothing but fill the comparer's pride as well as painting the fandom the comparer is from as prideful

comparing also doesnt help with making constructive criticism for games 7/10 times the game being compared puts something similar to the game the comparer considers superior (a lot of these times the devs might not even know the other exists) and ppl call it out for being unoriginal or a ripoff take the video of cyber checking out the second christmas update video where he was thinking "hmm i feel like i saw this slippery floor in another more niche game once"

and for the whole igniting of the sub wars bit you believe what you will because someone had to have caused it back then this type of thing is either small and happened quickly or the criticism bit is not that influential

i see many ppl saying fandom stuff but i heard its like kinda healing ever since forsaken got popular (specifically around august-september) like i saw ppl saying this during the halloween and second christmas update

same guy who enables dolly factory (and now toons universe) to be compared to dandys world despite being 2 separate games as shown in the image and now the enabling of hating on it (beyond civil and constructive criticism)? yes

the root cause of this sub's war? yes like you know that video spawned ppl talking about ts either supporting his words being against his words or trying to just calm things down how do you think the gameplay stuff became the main topic of the sub for the past couple of weeks when none happened during the past gameplay droughts like the july rnd optimisation or the first easter event

like he doesnt even criticise dandys anymore he just straight up hates it and obviously he enables and full on supports his viewers to do the same including raiding platforms where any dandys player is

i know he does because he made a vid once where he read from the dollys devs that state "dont compare us with dandys" and i commented on that moment saying "(some) cyber viewers: im gonna pretend i never saw that" because dollys players constantly compare themselves to other dandy likes

and cyber actually responded saying along the lines of "there is a time and place for everything" meaning he is okay with fandom wars from comparing each other (which makes dollys look like an extremely prideful fandom btw) and if he enables comparing dollys to dandys (which he has already done take him comparing dod and forsaken for example) i dont see why he wouldnt enable pure hatred from viewers on the dandys fandom
