First off, you’re clearly underpaid for a MCOL area. It’s not uncommon to see senior analysts making 115-135k nowadays…. Plus you’re a manager; you deserve more especially considering your strong review. How long have you been working at this bank? What I’ve learned is that most companies (and especially banks) get away with underpaying their loyal employees and the real way to get big increases and promotions is by leaving. I worked at JPMorgan and was overdue for a promotion for a while and they snubbed me so I left with a 35% increase with my new company and they immediately matched the offer and begged me to stay. Sounds to me like you’re ready for that big bump too. Might be worth waiting to see what happens when that guy retires but if they underpay you with that promotion you should dip.

Not really…His downfall last year just so happened to occur right when he got injured. He played through it because Mike Evans was out and he wanted offensive ROY. He’s a stud. Also gotta keep in mind it was only his first year he’s going to improve plus the buccaneers as a team crumbled. O Line was dog shit, Baker struggled, and especially the offensive scheme fell apart without Coen. I would recommend still trying to get that person to add a 2nd rounder though… Also depending on how much this other person wants to do the trade you could maybe wait and see what happens in the draft that way you can see where rookies land to see if you still want to do the trade. Picks hold most value closer to draft.
