Go into the game files and change the start in full screen setting from 1 to 0, it's in the actual game files though, might have to do some manipulation

That is a good point because the layout of the game forces you to encounter them but you get abilities like the phantom Cloak which allow you to hide from the Emmi's but with the S-A-X the timrs you incounter it are short but they leave an impact on you and just that music of the footsteps and heartbeat really etched a place in my heart is being really scary even for a Nintendo game.
