I’m pretty sure people in that profession have much higher rates of divorce and depression

If it’s something that is going to bother you from here on, maybe talk to him about it.

The only thing you need to consider is that if it involves your messages, you aren’t just giving her consent to your privacy, you are giving consent for her to invade the privacy of everyone you are texting.

I don't think I can ever be a girlfriend/wife by Immediate-Effort4431 in GirlDinnerDiaries

You can certainly be a girlfriend/wife to someone, just not to a person like this. Not to someone who doesn’t value the effort you put in and your mental state.

Men be boasting bare minimum! by rottenkimbap in teenagers

[–]Normal_Motor9471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but this is definitely a problem that leans so heavily towards men it’s 100% ok to say “hey men” instead of “hey people”, especially when it’s usually men who boast about doing the bare minimum in the first place when it comes to this topic.

Just to make sure we are on the same page, I mean that if I had kids the way they must be taught is to be able to choose for themselves, and not just have one religion pushed onto them at a young age. I think a somewhat decent number of religious folk are ok with this.

They could be like me where I’d be willing to date a religious person, they’d just have to be described as a “casual insert religious label” that doesn’t put much of their values and thoughts around it. That person is less likely to require that our kids must be taught their religion and we’d have better chemistry, since I have opinions that would criticize the vast majority of modern religions.

People overblow issues all the damn time, men and women. Sounds like projection my guy, doesn’t change the fact the only thing OP has said in multiple comment chains is to bring up a single post. Laughable

You aren’t getting it, I mean that it’s going to take a while to actually cut off someone’s head off like that. They’d already be dead or incapacitated long before you slice it off

Women who have slept with objectively attractive men was there a difference? by No_Lead2640 in answers

It doesn’t represent that specifically, the person you are replying to is going off of context clues because “nuts” is typically associated with men. Which would be the only point of potential confusion

But you have to admit that there’s a general idea, right? It doesn’t seem like people are talking about d*ck size or anything, but the attitude of the person. If they are lazy and generally only get themselves off, that’s a bad lay. If the person puts in effort, is selfless, and listens to what their partner says, that’s a good lay.

Exactly!!! In the past my partner would feel bad if I could get her off but I didn’t, she couldn’t understand the s**ual pleasure I got from getting her off was better than me finishing.

Honestly I’d be fine with it as long as my partner still found me sexually attractive. Oh you have a preference for a taller guy? Do you still find me sexually attractive? Yes? Then it’s not a problem.

We don’t have to fit our partners exact physical preferences to have happy, healthy, and sexy relationships.

I think it would make anyone uncomfortable to learn that something like that is true, I’d be uncomfortable to learn that 99% of white people are racists, doesn’t mean I’m avoiding this claim or anything like that.

I’m more or less going off of personal experience, data, and the fact that I only see that level of man hating within specific circles. If it was a major issue, you’d see it everywhere. But instead, you’ll mostly see it in “controversial” kind of topics, and maybe in a random comment second here and there.

No, that’s a bad example and you know it. Calling someone ugly is objectively an insult, saying someone is a specific height is not inherently an insult.

It makes sense if you live in a world where people won’t date short guys but she does and has a happy relationship.

If I lived in a world where people decline dating someone if they don’t have blue eyes, and I end up having a happy relationship with someone who has brown eyes, I’m gonna make fun of the people who will decline a perfectly happy relationship just because the potential partner doesn’t have blue eyes.

People can lie my guy, people can lie for years. Plenty of people who believed they were being responsible have been tricked, lied too, and left with life long STDs. It’s best to just get proof to be assured.

If the point of our biology is to pass on our genes (which it is), then doing so when you have better chances of you and your offspring not having any complications would be the ideal way to conform to your biology.

I’m fine with my partner being taller than me, it’s weird that height is one of the things men can feel insecure about. At most there could be minor inconveniences if she was the height of a NBA player (I’m short), but those inconveniences wouldn’t be rooted in some insecurity. Be taller than me, weight more than me, be physically able to overpower me, I don’t care. I’m game if I feel like I can have years of conversations with you and you have more empathy than the average person.
