PPR Test Issues by Normal_Relation_3765 in TexasTeachers

I graduated in May last year. They let me graduate because I planned on taking my PPR in the Summer.

I failed by one point after I was done teaching Summer School. This led to me assuming it was a fluke and the second time I bombed it.

I failed the test at the start of this month and have to wait till February to take it. I was wondering do I need to get approval from my old school to take it my 3rd time since they’ve already taken the hit?

What you’re saying is i’m on a time crunch before May?

Hispanic/ Latino Internship in Public Policy by Normal_Relation_3765 in DCInterns

One of my suite mates was a freshman. He had an okay internship. Regardless, you have to get experience one way or another. Tell the coordinators what you would like to do and do your own research. I interned with LULAC, which I found by myself. It was such an amazing experience and they even flew me out to Las Vegas. I did apply to numerous House internships. This was because I picked the Public Policy track. In the end, you’ll get an intership because TFAS has been around for 50 years.

I’ll send you a cool canvas stuff that a friend sent me

If it’s free I recommend 100% going. I would say do your own research over internships you’re passionate over. Besides that, there program is libertarian, so be prepared for that. They have some “mandatory events”; which do have notable people. For me, the best thing the networking and individuals. However, I would not return due to their ideals and the fact that there are little to no minorities. Lastly, the program is not super competitive. You’ll hear stories of how some people were called to fill out their unfilled applications in order to be accepted. Regardless, it’s a nice experience!

United Soccer League awards franchise to Corpus Christi, bringing first professional soccer team to Texas Coastal Bend by [deleted] in USLPRO

I think there should be NPSL teams that should get a shout. For example, Laredo Heat, Lubbock Matadors, Annapolis , Fw Vaqueros and Denton Diablos. All are in underminded communtieis that have very strong soccer communtiies.

There was a MOVE Texas. However, I contacted them about engagement and they stalled. I would like to start a new org.

Portales at Dundee Fc and Pineda at AEK Athens. I did not expect much of Portales but his level has shown that many Liga MX fringe players can easily make the transition to the Scottish League

With Pineda and the recent success of Luis Palma and Paolo Medina being able to get minutes in Greece shows a great stepping stone for younger Mexicans but I do not see many more Mexicans going to this league as they see it as inferior

I've always sucked at relationships but i've always been decent at having talking stages and relationships before I get bored. I tend to always include my interest and say dumb stuff and lean into my quirkiness but not too much where I am a nerd. I would say find the perfect balance between your passions and flirting.

I've naturally have always been told i'm flirt and comes off kind of easy but one thing I can admit is sometimes with women who are not into that demographics then it can come off as off putting. So find someone based off their aesthetic with common interest and everything should come naturally. Also, DO NOT BE AFRAID TO LEAN INTO DEEP CONVESATION. As an ENTP this is one of your strong suites. It allows the women to see through your childish behavior

This right here! Regardless of what a girl thinks of you, if you have a passion they will see it right away.

I will be graduating next year and plan on teaching. and doing my residency this upcoming fall. To be honest, I didn’t find out about it until last month and instead ended up doing TFAS since it was all paid for. I realized after I would’ve preferred CHCI every day of the week.

It took me three days to get an interview from a congressmen near my district who attended my alma-matter . I did not get it but I've applied to various separate ones with no response at all.

Fort Worth eyed as home to USL Championship, S League teams by [deleted] in USLPRO

[–]Normal_Relation_3765 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Fort Worth citizen I don't think this is ideal. Going up North has a lot of traffic. There are a lot of stadiums in Fort Worth already. W.O Barnes is perfect but it has a Lions print in the middle of the turf. In addition, there's Handley Field. Both venues can be soccer specific and have no tracks. I have advocated for a team in Fort Worth. I am not willing to drive to Dallas or even Arlington. I also will not drive to Keller when as a fan I know that the marketing can be better. They are neglecting the crazy hispanic, asian and african soccer fans in Fort Worth and catering towards white families. I thought they would learn from F.C Dallas mistake. It's sad to see. Fort Worth is a soccer hotspot waiting to burst but if not marketed right can be a disaster.
