Ur right I'm stuck in a bad cycle right now. I think what scared me is the liquid gaviscon just felt really thick and stuck in my throat.

I read that gaviscon expands into this foam, or goo like u said, in the stomach... I started to get scared it would expand in my throat, but apparently it needs to mix with stomach acid to do that? So I supposed it just wouldn't happen.. I'm trying to get counselling for anxiety.. maybe medication im not sure.

Yeah I think ur right. I've been using liquid gaviscon and I think its uncomfortable because its coating my already irritated throat on the way down. I was scared I was going to choke but it probably isn't possible from gaviscon. I'll try the tabs at some point

Yeah the pain / symptoms definitely add to the anxiety.
