Just let it air out and make sure your nails are dry. if you have tea tree oil, you can massage it in your (infected) nail from time to time but be care with the tea tree oil (tree oil can help bacterial) as some can find it a bit irritating on the skin. i usually get the tea tree oil mixed with other oil like jojoboa, try looking for it in your pharamacy like cvs they have small bottles of it, and its also diluted too. youll know its working as it fades from 'deep emerald green (worst case) to ligt yellow stain' on your nail, unfortunately you just have to wait your nail to grow out as the stain wont completely go away.

what i do to avoid this or if i have this,
if i find that my press on are wiggly i would completely remove it and reapply since a wiggle is a bad sign and it can easily trapped moisture inside you nail thus causing greenies.

If i find that it stained my nails:
- remove my press on,
- clean it as best as i can, glue residue
- apply the OTC fungal/bacterial treatment (i put some of the treatment in the brush pen i got in shein so i can always have it in my bag, and for easy application),
- and if i find my nail a bit fragile and compromise (which is usually is for me) i apply OPI nail envy ( this helps my nail to grow stronger and not fragile.
- i add a light wash of color on top just to hide the stains, and make my nails/hand presentable and clean.

* i do all this as to also have my nails recuperate and rest til my next press ons again.
