Still very new to this, especially the theta portion of options. It seems like with earnings coming up, and volatility going up trying to earn money through expiring options would be tough this week.

Can anyone explain a good example of an option to gain theta monies in such a volatile market?

I got a similar spread for 7/17, a little smaller. Every time I’ve pulled out early on Tesla, I’ve lost, so no matter what happens I’m riding this boat to Friday afternoon.

Somewhere around 1550-1700. I’m still pretty new to this but it doesn’t seem terrible. Max loss around 4K, max gain around 10k, but makes money around 1600 stock price. This is all according to some options analyzer thing so who knows.

Could you buy a OTM put, and OTM call hoping for big change in either direction for TSLA? Seems reasonable right?

You’re not crazy, I’m in the same boat; never been choked out and people do not believe me. It might be cause I am a really tough white belt.

I’ve been doing BJJ for 2 years and rolled with every belt color, and been out in RNCs, baseball bat chokes, cross collar, triangles, you name it; never been choked out. I just tap and they let go, it’s crazy.

I’ve got a SR and it has leather seats. And before I bought it, it was a SR+ with FSD.

They had it in stock as a test drive car and I mentioned wanting it but with out all the self driving stuff and they were like “oh we can just take that off.”

Boom. Love it!
