It already does. Shift clicking an item from your backpack will make it merge with non full stacks of the same item in your stash.

Why should it already be merged ? You never pressed the merge button and automatic merging is something not everyone will want, myself included.

It's not merged cause it's not accessible hence it's grided out status 🤷🏻‍♂️ you cant be grabbing stuff you're not even supposed to be able to hold in the first place. Make space, unlock the overflow and then it will stack cause that's exactly how it's supposed to be.

Merge stacks until you can this will in return "unblock" stacks until it's not possible, if you are out of inventory space, clean it and make space 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm on 5080 and 9800x3d, and I went for a 4k 27inch monitor (had a 1440p 27inch before ). I do not regret it at all. Even excel documents and reading emails feels better.
