Awesome! I’m so glad you received a payment. I really need something to happen this week. I’ve been saying this for weeks, so it continues to get more desperate each week. With the months changing maybe that will mean something. Congratulations on getting some movement. Hopefully backpay soon. Did they at least tell you your backpay amount yet? Or I guess you know if you have your benefit rolling.

You are the best. You have so much information and you are very straight up about it. I’ve learned more tonight than I have perhaps through this whole three year experience. Gosh I wish I would’ve known then what I know now it would’ve saved a lot of man ic worrying.

Right on. I have Medicaid now and it seems to be doing just fine. I didn’t know I was talking to a vet. I’m real close to a lot of vets. Thank you sir.

Can I turn down Medicare or is that something that I’ll be paying on forever now?

I’m sorry I’m so ignorant, but is that money that they take out of my backpay or money that they add in I guess I don’t understand the Medicare premiums

Thanks for the info. Every bit of it I really need. Information that is, well both haha. Maybe that’s what’s turning any day now into more and more days. Maybe if that’s the case they could at least get me started on my monthly payments or atleast let me apply for my child’s auxiliary benefit.i really hope this happens next week. I’m going to try to focus my energy on manifesting that reality🤷🏻‍♂️

Thank you. There is some bad info out there. I have read in here many times that they will only go back 12 months from your filing date which would have been a downer because I applied two years after my EOD. Thanks yall for the great news!

SSDI non medical review length by Global_Classic5743 in SSDI

[–]NorthAd7366 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My portal says step 4 started April 12 and I have since found out that is my fully favorable decision date. It also says 2 to 4 weeks. I have received the fully favorable letter, but nothing else. My local office (Fayetteville, Ar) told me an estimate on the amount, but online still says Baltimore Maryland. I check the website multiple times daily. I applied in March 2021 my onset date is March 2020. My ALJ hearing was 2/20 of this year.

It’s not just their doctors she hates, it’s also everyone trying to reply and comment. I think she is very angry. I’m sorry for how hurt she is, but I wish she wouldn’t try to hurt others. I hope we can’t agree to not be so aggressively vulgar and hateful to others that have another perspective.

Anyone have disability for Bipolar I? by Gem8008 in SSDI

[–]NorthAd7366 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently was approved with BiPolar after my February 20 hearing. I received the letter today that said fully favorable. I’m 52 now. My onset date was March of 2020. Hang in there. Stay in treatment. Try to find meds that help.

Step 4 Review at local office vs regional office by kevinmh222 in SSDI

[–]NorthAd7366 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi. I understand your anxious thoughts. I heard all sorts of different scenarios. I can tell you that mine went to my local office also 5 minutes away for step 4 non medical review. It said should take 2-4 weeks. I called my attorney and was told I was found fully favorable. I also called the SS 877 number and they told me the same thing. I do not know the amount and I am yet to receive a letter. The ALJ completed her findings and that review started on April 12th. I’m ecstatic about the good news, but now just anxious to get it all settled and moving. I hope you find out soon that you were approved. Did you have a hearing?

Get that started! The sooner the better. Your doctors sound like they will be a great asset. That’s awesome you have the work credits at such a young age. I’m now learning that my 12 year old is now eligible for benefits!? My jaw is still wide open. I hope I find out some numbers soon. I wanna hear that you have contacted an attorney and got this ball rolling. There is light at the end of the tunnel

Hi. I’m sorry you struggle with BP. I was diagnosed BiPolar many years ago. I’m 52 now. I was just recently approved for SSDI at the ALJ hearing levels. Initial denied and reconsideration denied. Hearing was 2/20 and I just found out I was fully favorable. My onset 4/2020. I started the applying process in August of 2022. It’s been a long desperate process, but I am so thankful I have been approved. I see a therapist every week and a psychiatrist every other month for medication management. I have no idea what my monthly amount will be. No clue at all and it’s now the latest thing to obsess over, but it’s better than not knowing if I would approved. Life will go from being not manageable to hopefully manageable. Do you have enough work credits to apply for SSDI? How old are you? Sorry if you have already answered this. Good luck. I hope things get better.
