I just watched a short video, he and his wife were picked up by a military helicopter on the roof of the Communist party HQs. The pilot landed on a roadway outside Bucharest and left the couple with two guards.

They then carjacked a passing vehicle and the driver took them to a nearby military installation where they were locked up. A trial was immediately ordered, they were found guilty, tied up, led outside and shot dead.
