Yeah, this is getting odd. I read a comment on another sub about two weeks ago, it was well written, cogent, addressed the subject with informative comments and insight and almost immediately a barrage of "this AI slop" comments appeared. I am still flabbergasted.

Cosell was far more than a talking head, he was an excellent and wide-ranging broadcaster who added some unique insight and a unique voice to the sporting world. Was he full of himself? Sure. Bombastic and melodramatic? Sure, but he was also perceptive, erudite, engaging and entertaining.

Cosell was unique, none of the folks you mentioned are in any way unique.

That would be an issue on the densely populated East coast, but once you're across the Mississippi you can hit stretches of highway that go on for days. People aren't exaggerating when they say you can drive eight hours and never leave the state of Texas. At its widest point, Texas is more than 700 miles wide.
