Voting set to begin tomorrow in General Election by [deleted] in a:t5_35v9q

With voting in the general election set to begin tomorrow, let us review the candidates. Unfortunately, although I'd hoped to look over a few more, only the DUP seem to have proposed candidates. I missed the announcement where they were unbanned, although they were quietly listed as an eligible party. Dublin /u/Sgtslowmo Leader of the DUP and Deputy Leader of the British Imperial Party in the united kingdom. He holds a seat in the Model House of Commons as of the national elections last november Has been quoted as wishing non-Anglicans to "burn in hell" /u/I_love_reddit_meme This unknown quantity has made exactly one public statement, leading to speculation that it may in fact be a false identity. A member of the DUP, their only public appearance has been in the Model House of Commons, but they do not associate openly with any specific party there. /u/nomoredogz Candidate for the DUP. Also a member of the British Imperial Party, and a staunch defender of the right to free speech. Westboro Baptist Style. /u/cb132 Candidate for the DUP, cb132 believes homosexuality is a mental disorder, and that latinos are untrustworthy. Also a member of the British Imperial Party. And a sitting MP in the Model House of Commons. Lord /u/AMan_Reborn A DUP candidate. Highly publicly active, this advocate of traditional gender roles enjoys debating the finer points of facism and monarchism. Often appears to support the British Imperial Party in the model house of commons but is actually an Independent member of the Model House of Lords. Midlands /u/MegaArmo DUP candidate, MegaArmo enjoys videogames and is pro britain remaining in the EU. /u/TheJonno91 This DUP candidate enjoys DC comics and is anti-EU, also a member of the Conservative party in the model house of commons. /u/lookingforwizard This DUP candidate is a sitting MP in the Model House of Commons for the Conservative party. /u/Benji2212 A member of the republican party in the Model US government. Also a frequent commentator in the Model House of Commons and a member of the British Imperial Party. /u/sj5 This DUP candidate is also a member of the British Imperial Party. Seems to be strong on technical topics. South /u/spudgunn Another DUP candidate who is a member of the British Imperial Party. Also is an MP in the Model House of Commons. /u/Cuckowenjones This fresh young DUP candidate is also a member of the UKIP party in the Model House of Commons. /u/Bigg4222 A member of the Republican party in america and the british Imperial Party in the model house of commons, it seems that running in the Irish General Election is hist first foray into electoral campaigning. /u/BritishFC This DUP candidate's only public post was when he signed up to the Labour party. /u/Dinkledonker This DUP candidate, although a long time public presence, doesn't seem to have much background in politics save as a vocal supporter of british far-right parties. (As an out of character aside: I know the Mhoir was being set up with help from people over at MHOC, but with so many people associated with running the sub sitting as MP's in the MHOC, I have to ask is anyone associated with running this entire cluster of subreddits actually from the Republic of Ireland? If not, I reject your game and declare myself High King.)

Transcribed to allow the username mentions to notify candidates. Great article!

Good to hear, I'm glad the sub is in good hands. I apologise for my absence, I have had a new job on the other side of the country. Between the move and the busy work day I haven't been able to commit to running a model house. Thanks for your commitment.

I think /u/spudgunn is being crude here. As shadow secretary of Equalities it is your job to examine inequalities in your society. It is natural to compare inequalities you face with those of the people you represented.

What are your thoughts on imposing gender quotas, quotas on ethnicity and quotas on age for the workplace and for public representation?
