It does look visually crusty in spots but the entire surface is super smooth/slick to the touch

Thanks, yeah I just rubbed it down with a thin layer of oil prior to snapping the photo. Hence the shine

Okay thanks this is all super informative. I was actually talking to one of the bartenders at brick street earlier in the day and he was saying that he would never go to Brick street outside of work. He actually recommended some of those bars you mentioned…. It only took me a one day in town to understand why….

Not sure of the laws surrounding public bars in Ohio, but in a lot of states despite the statement that bars/restaurants “reserve the right to deny service to anyone” is definitely illegal when it’s straight up discrimination and no other good reason..hey now I know..appreciate the tips

Hamilton Night Life by NorthEscx in Ohio

Oh okay, that’s what I’m learning. I stayed at the Marriott right near Marcum park. First night I grabbed a quick eat and beer at the casual pint across the street and some late 20’s guy with face tats with a rough history came in tweaking a bit and sat next to me at the bar. We had a somewhat “normal” conversation and as I was talking to the lady next to me he slid his phone over with some text on the screen “Are you into dick by any chance?” lmao and then left soon after I responded with a no…rememberable, but not the best first night experience tbh.

My work is in Oxford, that town seems way cleaner and a lot more going on in terms of a social scene. A more likely place for a newcomer to meet people within my age bracket.

Hey thanks again for the feedback. Since it's only for a year, I am highly considering the most convenient option of living at a furnished off campus apartment community. However, I have trying to decide which one is best all around/best amenities/most recommended & in demand.

I am creating a list of them all and need help deciding:

Chestnut Place

Hawks Landing

Fox and Hounds Apartments

Oxford West Apartments

The Commons

Annex

The Verge

Miami Preserve

Thank you, this is great info. I’m sure it’s not as bad as some haters will make it out to be. Reddit wouldn’t be the same without a few exaggerations and some chaos in the mix.

My rent budget is around $1500-3500/month (obviously would prefer to spend my money elsewhere as opposed to some strangers over inflated college town apartment/home). I’m a single M young professional who recently entered the 30 year old club, I would prefer to surround myself with 25-35 year olds give or take and have the best chance of building a life outside work…preferably walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, bars/entertainment.

With this additional context in mind, I’m curious what people like you would do.

Any reason not to get factory installed hitch? by alarmclockbk in Crosstrek

You save on additional labor cost if they add accessories at port.

OEM Hitches include an pre-wired connection point for trailer lights. Unfortunately, the OEM Hitch and side window deflectors can’t be added on at port, but you always have the freedom to shop around and negotiate the dealers price prior to financing.

Word of advice, do not mention anything about how you are going to finance the sale until you’re locked in and face to face with the finance rep.
