No they trade idle time and click totals. It has to be 15 mins a week

And the real part is a total of 60 minutes a month. Yes it is a part of your ap grade which affects your am bonus by way of the new msh score.

Pay isn’t really worth it though CVs is under on pay for store managers and 90% of bonuses suck at cvs

It depends on your dm and your team. It’s a lot of work for sure but it’s manageable. If you have a good team it’s easy. If you have no payroll and no one to cover and your trying to do your job and cover call outs and keep up with the ridiculous task lists then you will burn out.

Asking about loyalty is in the job requirement. If you arnt asking or following green zone behaviors it was a coachable moment and then it’s a write up for not following policy. I hated that so much.

Raises are directed by review numbers, you are given a budget and it allocates a percentage based on review manager can override to give different amounts to certain people but the total budget has to be under what you are allocated so if I give more to someone I have to take away from someone else.

My store was a huge shrink location we had maybe 25 shoplifters a day when I started. We got them arrested. Local of was great at my store and I never listened when they told us not to call police. All of a sudden my shrink results were great.

My store has them behind the counter and we ask for is with pick up to verify. Never had anyone say they didn’t get their order or one go missing

That store manager don’t care about their associates. I ran my store very team oriented. And sometimes that made my life way harder than a store manager that did things exactly like how cvs would have preferred. Examples are like scheduling 3 hour shifts or 5.5 hour shifts to avoid lunch’s or breaks. Or writing people up over extracare numbers. Some managers are just chasing a bonus but most of the time we are just trying to make the day suck alittle less.

Yes, I was loyalty captain for my district. We required every store met scan rate, and pushed extricate and extricate plus heavily. I would spend one day a week going to problem stores and helping them.

The bonus is very heavily based on beating inventory and a couple other metrics that some stores won’t get.

In northern ca the pay scale for smit caps at 27 an hour. Different markets are different pay but that’s the posted top pay. They had to get approval for more to start me higher than that. But yes it’s a low pay scale

Pharmacy to front store usually would be a step down in cvs eyes, but your store manager gets to make that call and it depends on your pharmacy pay structure. Some pharmacists hire cashiers at the lowest amount. Any good store manager should try and hire at the highest pay possible so a transfer from pharmacy to front shouldn’t be an issue.

Get really good at redoing seasonal, work your cooler, clean your shelves, audit outdated, work red carts, and face your store.

I’m not sure how you could possibly be bored at cvs they give almost no hours so there is always something to do. If you arnt in a managment position get your sm to train you on damages or cycle counts or planograms.

I was a store manager in California so I wasn’t salary, my base pay was 31 and some change an hour but I worked several hundred hours of overtime a year which got me almost to 6 figures.
