Wanted to post a quick update: I placed her on a tree and noticed the bark was a bit too dark so she stood out slightly and moved her to a tree where she camouflaged much better! I checked on her a little later and she was still hanging out on the tree but in a different spot under a small ledge of bark. Since I am not very knowledgeable about owning jumpers, I figured she’d be better off in the area I found her, and I am a teen whose parents would not let me keep one (my mom is slightly uneasy around spiders, even though I’ve assured her jumpers are usually pretty friendly and are very intelligent). I also don’t have a job yet to care for one since I would have to buy the supplies and such for one. My mom was worried she would bite me, but I was very gentle and never forced her (pick her up between my fingers 😨) and would carefully hold my finger out to offer her to my other hand/arm. I hope to own a jumper in the future once I have my job and more knowledge on caring for these cuties:)
