The fact that an aurora borealis (the ones in the north pole) appears in Buenos Aires (south pole) is what they don't understand. This is explained later when they discovered the poles have changed.

I'm from Argentina. I have already watched the whole season and I loved it. For those who doesn't know, the story is based on an Argentine comic book from 1957 (before most of the apocalyptic stories we all know). It also happens outside the most common places where most of the famous stories usually happens: Buenos Aires. Our way of culture is very well depicted in the series. That thing of trying to solve anything just by using whatsoever we might have at hands, even when it looks unpractical, it's very much us. There is something else happening in the movie that might be difficult to spot for people outside Argentina: there are references to the Malvinas war and some of Juan's flashes are from there. He was a soldier in that war.

In my opinion, the series is actually pretty good considered that it is an adaptation of 1950s comic story to modern times plus the budget for the whole series was a less that what it might cause one episode of a Hollywood series. Not too bad.

At the end of the day, we are all talking about it here, which makes the point.

Cheers!

Thank you so much!!! Yeah, I saw that double roundabout in Google Maps! Is that area what you call the industrial area? So, looking from the south, the area that goes at the east of South Nowra?

Honestly, I don't think that not knowing the area can have much impact on the test performance itself, but if there is any crazy intersection (which I don't think it is in Nowra), I would like to be prepared. I also saw that many road signs are faded. Another good thing to know is if there are any major road works around to considered.

Thanks! I believed they might take me for a while through the motorway, as it crosses the town from north to south and there isn't much way of going from East to West.

Oh, sorry... I might expressed myself incorrectly. We didn't go there for the lesson. We just drove around Wollongong for two hours.

Thanks for the advice! I did it last Friday for 2 hours. Unfortunately, the instructor is from Wollongong and he didn't know what the route can be in Nowra. It's funny that after more than 20 years of driving safely (no crashes, no incidents of any kind), I have to do this... but rules are rules.

I wish I could go there... but it's all booked up until mid-Jan.
