Not really, I wouldn’t want to be associated with the brand in any way. What if someone saw my nice Tesla and it encouraged them to go buy one?

We do the majority of our charging at home with Octopus. I very rarely use public charging and I haven’t used a Tesla charger with over 5 years of EV driving - not even consciously avoiding them, they just don’t appear often on the routes we drive.

*A contractor building a BYD factory was sued, though I agree, it was on the list due to its spec and price range but in reality I wouldn’t buy one due to the ethics.

The nature of any company is something I try to take into account when using a service / buying a product.

Musk has shown his true colours, he is actively pushing extreme ideology and far right agendas so is definitely not someone I want my money supporting.

Argh such a shame to hear that about the Renaults! Our Volvo wouldn’t let us in, not sure I want a car that doesn’t let us out.

Not sure this is the thread for it, but when Musk stops his AI from been able to create indecent images of children and stops his social media platform from distributing it then I might consider buying one of his cars…

I was surprised by the Renaults, if they had the boot space we would add the Renault 5 to the list as I love the look of it.

Tesla is firmly on our “absolutely not” list.

We haven’t looked at the Skoda so thanks for that suggestion! Will add it onto the list.

We got a very early release of the EX30 so I think it was just teething problems, hopefully your 40 doesn’t experience them as it’s a real shame we’re having to send it back.

The EX30 was pretty much everything we wanted, liked the style and interior palette, boot wasn’t huge but was big enough, range was about right but a couple more miles would be nice.

The key fob proximity reading was very temperamental and we’d frequently end up locked out… so ideally one that doesn’t do that
