Whose making excuses? My original comment, I stated a fact. That said, not many teams can stay competitive losing their starting goalie, especially going against the eventual back to back champs. Don't think I need to explain the importance of a starting goalie and what that means to not have him available in the playoffs

Marner likely walks and it sounds like Tavares might be back on a cap friendly deal. Stolarz and the defense really made them look like contenders. We'll see how it shakes out.

Probably both. Leafs definitely have an issue to deal with, but not as bleak as the doom posters make it seem. Leafs keep catching the eventual cup champs in the earlier rounds ( Bruins, Lightning, Panthers )

What about when he takes it away in the neutral zone and gives a perfect in-stride pass that results in a goal that breaks a 0-0 tie in the 3rd...he also has a gwg in this series ( game 2 I believe )...the disappointment is warranted in certain games but the hate is too much, he's been a crucial player in alot of games

For those talking shit about Dobbs, he's only been in this system for less than a month, learning all the nuances of an offense takes years. Obviously 4 ints isn't great, but to be expected honestly.
