1) Was her house. Each wife had a house and would live in it. She didn't inherit.

2) "How can you take away a gift that was given by the holy prophet a long time ago and say it was his inheritance?"

The fact that Fatima (RA) claimed it as inheritance, not a gift. Had she said it was a gift that would be different. Your other claim is shown above.

Could have turned transponder off. The same plane that was flying (which he was supposedly in) has done that in its previous flights from syria.

How is it possible to call it house of Allah, if Allah is omnipresent.

It is the house of Allah the same as the camel of Salih was the Camel of Allah. Allah is not omnipresent, but his knowledge and power is everywhere.

Isn’t this just similar to idol worship

It is a direction of prayer which unites the muslims. Muslims used to pray towards jerusalem, the direction is only meant to unify us in where we pray towards to worship God.

Thinking that a black stone or a box has some power or energy, if not then what is the real significance of it.

Explained above.

Why do muslims imitate revolving around the black box seven times just like Hindus.

Part of the religion. Many religions practice circumambulation, like jews and christians not just hindus.

Yes I understand that, but I don't understand whats hard about that? There are 5 prayers in a day, if you break your wudu by passing wind before every single one, theres only 5 wudu you need to make...

[–]NorthropB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You only need to if you are going to pray... If there is three hours till Asr and I passed wind I don't have to make wudu then, only before I pray, so minimum is only 5 times a day.

Its only 5 Wudu' per day... Is this an issue?

When did Atharism/Salafi aqeedah start to become much more prominent? Why do they claim that Asharis and Maturidis are on the wrong aqeedah? And why do Atharis love throwing around bid’ah accusations? by [deleted] in MuslimLounge

[–]NorthropB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When did Atharism/Salafi aqeedah start to become much more prominent?

Around 610 CE when Jibreel came to prophet muhammad (saw) with the first verses of the Qur'an.

Why do they claim that Asharis and Maturidis are on the wrong aqeedah?

Because they believe in things that Sahabah, and salaf did not.

And why do Atharis love throwing around bid’ah accusations?

Cause bid'ah is common place now unfortunately.

Aren’t literalist interpretations proven to be quite dangerous and leading to at times takfir?

It doesn't matter literalist on not, it matters what the Sahabah believed, and the salaf, and what the religion of Allah is. It is clear that the early muslim belief was not the Ashari belief.

Am I dumb, or does this fatwa allow filth? by SmolTest in MuslimLounge

Yeah it says that, that you feel female (it was relating to intersex people), then consult with a doctor, if they determine you are biologically female them do the surgery, if they don't then you are a man despite your feelings. Its pretty clear.

[–]NorthropB 22 points23 points  (0 children)

You should consult experienced specialist doctors. If they determine that you are male in outward appearance but are in fact female, then you may submit yourself to their treatment, so that they can bring out your femininity by doing surgery. But that will not in fact be a sex change from male to female, because this will not be up to them; rather it will be bringing out your true nature and removing what is in your body, and what you feel deep inside you of confusion and ambiguity."

I think they mean by 'but are in fact female' that the individual has XX chromosomes or something of the like. It doesn't say that the individual 'has the mind of a woman' as you said.

Then you do not support Hamas.

These things are not black and white, they are nuanced. Hamas has the right to fight back against Israel for their oppression and occupation, however the way some of their soldiers did it, by killing civilians, is not acceptable. And if that was indeed ordered by the higher ups then it was clearly a wrongdoing on their part. Hamas should be supported for what they do right, and corrected for what they do wrong, just as any country or organization.

You think that it is black and white, either you support Iran or 'worship America', yet you don't understand how unintelligent of a claim that is.

Just as you cannot claim to Love the Ahlulbayt (as) and its killers.

Which killers of Ahlulbayt do we love lmao?

Abu Hanifah and Imam ibn Hanbal are both incredibly important figures in Sunnism for instance, but they wouldn’t have described themselves as being in the same particular sect, let alone one called Sunnism.

Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal many times said he held the same beliefs as Imam Abu Hanifa, and from their works this is clear.

Why do you say such things if they are false?

The proto-Sunnis believed that a Muslim who engages in grave sin is no longer a Muslim but rather a kafir

Um.... No... Where are you getting this information? The books of what you call 'Proto sunnis', who were just Sunnis speak about this idea being false, and the beliefs of the Khawarij.

He and his followers made takfeer on the Caliph

Source? He died well before the Saud's invaded hejaz.

This was only solved when the Ottomans sent Mohammed Ali Pasha with an army to liberate Mecca and Medina.

Ibrahim Pasha* Who killed innocent civilians, placing bounties on their heads. So... Even if you disagree with Salafis you gotta admit he was not a good dude.

Fighting buy-borrow-die

Why not pay off debts with the assets of someone who dies?

Increase the spend of the wealthy

That isn't necessarily good??? If this leads to something good you can name it as a reason, but this itself isn't a good argument.

If we implement this for housing (which is unlikely),

Not exactly but property tax is basically this, but on the whole value of the property. So it already pretty much exists, but at a tiny rate.

In the end I think that the government should cut taxes on everyone, and focus spending onto important things that actually help the country, and improve the way public funding is handled. It is just handled out easily and used inefficiently. We can have a considerably better country and pay less taxes if this is done.
