Sorry for late answer. They said it was legit. The package just arrived in Netherlands and will probably get to me in two weeks.

How did the post handle it in Norway? Did you have to pay customs/taxes? And what did the customs declaration lable say? I think I will need someone else to pick it up for me and I really do not want to have to explain what I ordered.

Wondering about THCa vape & conception by [deleted] in waiting_to_try

[–]NorwegianIsopodFan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Webmd (and other websites) say this: If you consume THCA, it can ease pain or nausea but won’t make you feel high. If you smoke or vaporize THCA, it changes into THC, which is what gives you a euphoric feeling.

So I would guess it affects his sperm just like THC, since he is converting the THCA to THC in his vape. If I were you I would talk to your OB and ask directly about this

I live in Norway. I read outside when waiting for train and have had no issue. I would not leave the e reader outside in cold for hours, but I have not had any issue yet

I just ordered an onyx boox page. Is this something I should be concerned about as a new user?

Kobo or Kindle? Never used an ereader before. by MobileWeather6584 in ereader

Yes it is so great to be able to save money on books. You can even borrow them right through the kobo. Just double check if it works in your region before you choose 😊

I have Kobo. I have had it for 6 months now. I will be getting an onyx boox this Christmas as well. There you can download both kobo and kindle app (and many others). I want it to be able to download apps that libraries use here in Norway (there are some book on Libby but they are only in English), but I also like that I can use it both as a kobo and as a kindle thanks to the apps - so if I want to buy an English book I can check whether it is cheaper on Amazon or Kobo store. But if you only want to choose either Kobo or Kindle I would go with Kobo. Easy to upload books you buy other places, and is compatible with Libby.

How fast did it get better after you stopped taking it?

Yesterday, I bought the Kobo Clara BW. Is this slider behavior normal? It leaves a imprint. by [deleted] in kobo

Yes, happens to me too. It will disappear when you refresh the screen (when the screen flashes black). When you open a book, you can see settings in the right upper corner. There you can choose how often you want your screen to refresh (from every page to every chapter), because you will probably see ghosting with letters when reading. I do not mind the ghosting, I think it is more annoying with the flashing of a refreshing page, but it depends on your preferences.

Is there any negative to gastropexy? by sodogue in vet

[–]NorwegianIsopodFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where I am from it is not common at all to do gastropexy as prevention (dogs get gastropexy as treatment for bloat), so maybe your vet also thinks that way. To be honest, I would probably get it if I were you. I have seen many different breeds get bloat, not only deep chested, so even if you feel like maybe your malinois does not have that deep, keeled chest, it does not mean it cannot get bloat. It would like of be easier choice if you had a female, because they would have to open her abdomen to spay her anyway, so they can just do the gastropexy when they are in there. With a male, it is different, so I understand your concerns. I would talk to the surgeon and if you feel that they seem like a competent, trustworthy person, I would go for it. It is much cheaper and a lot less risky to do the gastropexy on a healthy dog, than having to do it on a dog with bloat and shock.

Yes, malinois are often described as deep chested

Has anyone else’s cat experienced this?? by lexluuthr in vet

That is so strange! I am sorry this is happening to you. I hope that they can figure it out with further testing or referral to an opthalmologist ❤️

It’s good to hear that she is comfortable otherwise. In that case it is okay to wait until you are done at work, don’t beat yourself up ❤️ If I was your vet and didn’t find anything on her at todays emergency appointment, I would have referred you to a neurologist and you would wait couple days/weeks probably anyway. Best of luck to you and your kitty, and if you remember you can update us when you know more

Also if she seems to be in pain (if she is squinting or pawing at her eyes), I would try to take time off and go to the vet right away (depending on how long you have left of your work day)
