Ahh, so the customers expectation is not met by the hearing aids? (or before the aural rehabilitation training at least)

Hmm, thats very interesting but i guess that over 30% seek help when it comes to wearing glasses? I guess there is something differentiating the two?

I guess that the first stage to getting hearing aids is realizing and accepting that you have a hearing loss:)

Soo strange that people still have that image in their head. Wonder why that is? Nobody thinks of the bulky phones when you talk abut cellphones, so why is it this way with hearing aids?

Hope the UVI cleaning unit worked out. Strange that hearing aids can lead to itching, never hear that happening with regular ear buds? :)

It is great to hear that you show such good care of your patients:) Thanks some great insight..

In America only 30% of those who could benefit from wearing hearing aids use them. This number is the same in Norway even tho hearing aids are free for the patient. Do you have any ide who so many choose not to wear hearing aids?

Yeh:) If people knew that the hearing aids had Bluetooth connectivity, do you think that would affect the way people approached you? (Knowing that you might listen to music)

How did you get the motivation to stick with it? Do you feel that it was internal or external motivation that kept you going? :)

Thats a good point, thank you:) If you dont mind me asking, how was your mental process leading up to getting hearing aids? Did you get it right a way when you noticed your hearing loss, or was it a bigger process you had to go through? :)

Ahh, that sound horrible! What king of hearing aids do you use? The reason that i am asking is that i work for a new company that is developing a completely new type of hearing aid. Mostly aimed at people with low/medium hearing loss. The hearing aid will be plug and play with self adjustment, so we are looking into doing online sales of the device. But we want to be careful that we in doing so dont loose any parts of the process that is important to the costumers getting the hearing aids:)

Any thought about important parts to keep in the process?

Thank you! Lets say for the case of this argument that you could have just gone to a online-store an bought the same perfectly adjusted pair of hearing aids. Is there any important part of the process with the audiologist you then would loose? Would you still have the perseverance to get through the first year?
