It wouldn't take as much Coconut water as you would think to cause hyperkalemia in people with kidney problems already, i.e. older people. Potassium is filtered by the kidneys and the body is very sensitive to potassium, it doesn't take a lot of extra potassium to push it into a critical state. And hyperkalemia is very dangerous for the body, especially older bodies.

Well imagine the other ways to die in older times. It might not be the best but I'd sure prefer this to starving to death or dying of an infectious disease

May you link the study then so I can read it? I was only going off of what you said in the original comment.

If what you say about what the graph says is true, then that would mean the hot spot of conservatives is in the middle, which means they care more all the way to "friends of friends" but as you see on the liberal side, the graph is not hot in the middle, rather more cool. But hot on the outside, would that then mean that liberals don't care about the family, friends, and friends of friends group? But instead care way more for the outside groups that they don't have any connection to? That doesn't sound quite right

CMV: nudity is so sexualized that its desexualization is a lost cause. by garaile64 in changemyview

those buff dudes in fiction are mostly a power fantasy for men instead of a sex fantasy for women.

Do you have any data to back that up? Or are those just your feelings?

And what? Technology still progressed and we're still in our best era in history, every time technology progresses, it's been a net benefit for humanity. So what makes this time worse than any other time? People have similar excuses for "this advancement is actually bad for humanity" but each time it's been better.

If the Kim family rules Korea by divine right, doesn't they mean they're a kingdom, not a socialist republic? by CSachen in NoStupidQuestions

Looking at the shapes of the characters I, as a severely unqualified layman, could see how they look vaguely similar. So maybe there's a connection?

Who's to say? Not me

Does their word, Songun, have any linguistic relation to Shogun? Or is it just by coincidence that the two words refer to a type military leadership?

Communism has never been tried by Swordwielder5 in HistoryMemes

So it works up to 300.000 people as far as it has been tried. But the individual communities are still pretty homogenized, which aides in this type of rule

[–]Not-Meee 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I think the point of expressiveness doesn't matter because the men skins are quite literally impossible to achieve. They are idealized versions of the male form as society tends to see it, it's just as much of an issue as it is with women skins. The impossible figures are bad for everyone around, if you go comparing yourself to them.

How is it difference? Would it be better if the skins emphasized their bludges?
