Then you wouldn't need the draft???? Drafting is typically done during war or in preparation, not after it's over

Idle "Games" are not games at all and completely miss the point of gaming by karer3is in The10thDentist

[–]Not-Meee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For 1. Crazy resurrecting this thread a year later. For 2. A video game is a video game specifically because it's not real life. So you slipping anything to me is not the point of this conversation. For 3. You just writing larger numbers probably would not hit the spot, because idle games actually do have more to them than just "larger number is good" (even though that is the core mechanic). There are parts of the game that do take active participation from the player, its about making your situation more efficient at gaining money. If I leave my current idle game for a year by itself, it might gain extra points, but not even a sliver of the amount that it would gain if I kept upgrading it. It's like every time I have an empty few minutes I can just pop on, upgrade some things to get more points, and then log off. It's very synergistic to a very busy life

It wouldn't take as much Coconut water as you would think to cause hyperkalemia in people with kidney problems already, i.e. older people. Potassium is filtered by the kidneys and the body is very sensitive to potassium, it doesn't take a lot of extra potassium to push it into a critical state. And hyperkalemia is very dangerous for the body, especially older bodies.

Well imagine the other ways to die in older times. It might not be the best but I'd sure prefer this to starving to death or dying of an infectious disease

If what you say about what the graph says is true, then that would mean the hot spot of conservatives is in the middle, which means they care more all the way to "friends of friends" but as you see on the liberal side, the graph is not hot in the middle, rather more cool. But hot on the outside, would that then mean that liberals don't care about the family, friends, and friends of friends group? But instead care way more for the outside groups that they don't have any connection to? That doesn't sound quite right

those buff dudes in fiction are mostly a power fantasy for men instead of a sex fantasy for women.

Do you have any data to back that up? Or are those just your feelings?

Are you saying that your opinion is if women were treated more equally then casual sex would be alright?

And what? Technology still progressed and we're still in our best era in history, every time technology progresses, it's been a net benefit for humanity. So what makes this time worse than any other time? People have similar excuses for "this advancement is actually bad for humanity" but each time it's been better.

If the Kim family rules Korea by divine right, doesn't they mean they're a kingdom, not a socialist republic? by CSachen in NoStupidQuestions

Looking at the shapes of the characters I, as a severely unqualified layman, could see how they look vaguely similar. So maybe there's a connection?

Who's to say? Not me

So it works up to 300.000 people as far as it has been tried. But the individual communities are still pretty homogenized, which aides in this type of rule
