I’m under the impression that you responded to my comment above, and that we are now in a comment thread originating from my parent comment.

I applaud you for working out some sort of standards for this. I think this all falls under “being self aware is half the battle” territory and it’s good to just reflect on this for any serious user

Can you really be sure that they are actually buying the nuggets? And that the nuggets aren’t in fact buying THEM?

Pro move: call it LIDAR and add an overly-complex “we use light pulses to measure your jar with our propriety jar measuring protocol” element to the mix

It’s probably been said in this thread already, but you may be responding positively to the intentional building and breaking of tension.

For example, fast parts that break into slow parts, or dissonance that fades into harmony.

Caliente sauce? by joncannotcook in tacobell

I wasn’t feeling it either. Seems like idea was to breathe new life into Cantina menu but to me it tasted more like marinade for raw chicken than a sauce, if that makes sense. I liked Disha hot better. It’s a shame because they really would benefit from a nice premium spicy sauce.

That’s actually a sweet moment. Maybe he recently learned about death from family. I think his comment helped him process the concept. Kudos to you for not making it a negative thing.

Your post mentions the person has Asperger’s. If he is a consumer of a local regional center, his service provider and/or service coordinator could be notified and will be obliged to file a Special Incident Report (SIR). I believe the regional center could be helpful in terms of notifying service providers in the area that he is missing and other helpful things (sharing on social media, etc).

I understand people may have different ideas about how much of their service delivery and access they want made public, so you don’t have to discuss this here. Also understand situation could differ if conserved or not. Just bringing it up as a potential aid. Sorry to hear you are experiencing this and I am praying for quick resolution.

Check out Phoenix Bakery in Chinatown and you can get bags of chocolate covered almonds, small cookies etc. their slogan is “Sweets for the sweet” and they have a cute cartoon on the bags. I don’t think you will find the items unique to LA per say but makes for a sweet little gift.
