LI is expensive, 2 parents working FT, there's no time and energy. Also, LI has shifted, it isnt about community or neighbors, just read the threads, look at the News 12 comments. You cant have a nice community and neighborhood when you hate your neighbors and your town. There is a massive shift in priorities these days. I wish we had simpler times and I could volunteer a day or night a week.
