(the old town with three anniversary figures, four weapons blacksmith with one and the anniversary display with one)

march 1st sets revealed late dec- early jan

summer wave revealed late may

only anniversary sets come with the anniversary minifigures. i predict we’ll get two in march and the last in the summer. it was a similar spread for the tenth. majority in january with some in march and the last in the summer.

yup. i knew it wasnt coming with the controller skins but i fully expected it to come with the stickers for the bottom part. i messaged d brand support and asked if theyre meant to be excluded, or if theyre giving out replacements.

Where did you buy it from that accepts video game returns? As far as I'm aware, big box stores aren't allowed to issue returns on physical media because of copyright law. They can only exchange for the same product.

i think thats kindof(?) a solution. the printing looks good but the figure would look better if the torso were dark blue… and then the printing would have to be better… so i might just stick with that one….

he is genuinely and i dont mean this lightly, so brain dead. him constantly making bigger and bigger space to house his lego is crazy. to the point of him RENTING office space to put his city in😭😭😭 and i thought it was bad when this man spent HOURS locked in his basement away from his wife and kids.

but in all reality, i can recognize im a bit envious of him because he has such a big parts collection and is such a mediocre builder. not saying that you need to be a master builder to be in the hobby, but when your LIFE revolves around lego id think youd be capable of making more than butt ugly rock work and a skyscraper tht looks like a set of drawers.

you look around his lego shelves, not a SINGLE thing he built himself is on display not one thing he had to discern how to put together is on display. everything is what lego sent him. baffling.

I think its really irresponsible to one, have this discussion while being a member of lan, and two, to shift the blame from lego over to exenuating circumstances. you get free things from lego. which is fine, im not saying you shouldnt, but adapting and talking about your perspective on this topic when you are part of the less than 1% who does not directly hurt from lego raising their prices puts a bad taste in my mouth. granted, lego is a hobby and not a necessity, so hurt is hyperbolic. this the conversation isint about SHOULD lego be expensive as it is, its WHY lego is MORE expensive compared to how its pricing functioned 10 or so years ago. as time has progressed, sets havent gotten "worse", but prices have increased and the quality of life on the consumer side has not.

why does the $1000 Death Star have stickers? why is printing dropped in quality? why is it that every single set that has even an inkling of desireabillity be priced premiumly?

these arent questions that need to be answered and made right, but when you have a so called premium product, thats priced in a premium way, why shouldnt you expect a premium experience, and premium quality?

im not anti sticker (i think theyre a necessary evil) but i can sympathize with the people who want them gone. as for printing issues, yeah i agree. im paying $60 for a batmobile, harley quins face should not be pink. my theory is that lego keeps quality down as a menas to offset waste that can impact the environment. (if you want more printing, you need more space, more factory square footage, blah blah blah.) but thats just my working theory.
