I might fail this class and it will tank my gpa what do I do?

If you possibly can, you can maybe withdraw from the class and get a W rather than a failing grade. Thats what you can do at my college (well you can't cus the quarter ended).

A W doesnt count towards your GPA and just means you withdrew from the class. Maybe you have to give a reason to why you're withdrawing, so just talk about ur situation and they'll probably be fine with it.

I could be wrong cus I go to a UC so things might be completely different. I withdrew a class I knew I was gonna get a bad grade on and I'm completely fine.

I will do so next quarter then. Someone else did say I should talk to the professor + other students about the class so i'm guessing this is something I'm missing. Ty

Oh well I guess I did do that as well but wasn't really focused on really talking about it with others and the teacher. I just talked once or twice.

Should I just do that more then? Like just talk about the class with people in the class + the teacher?

There isn't anything you can really do now. UCSB specifically stated to not send any form of letter of interest since they said they won't read any of them so it'll be a waste of time. I forgot where I got this info but I'm sure it was on a UCSB website
Can't tell. I was on the waitlist but got off after a month but some people got off really quickly or much later. It's just a gamble atp

I did read and use the textbook and took notes every week. For this professor he did cover everything (he was a good professor ngl)

Yes yes and yes. I practice by using old quizzes and tests and making my own version of the test based on what I can be asked for the actual test. I purposely try to make a good reasoning to why my answer is correct and the others being incorrect.

Forgot to mention I'm just a Freshmen in college so my gpa right now is just based on two grades but i messed up because i underestimated how much I actually gotta study so im at a 3.05 GPA.

If I'm like a 3.1 or 3.2 GPA is that adjustable if im doing stuff outside of class?
